I'm happy you've never lost someone close to you in a savage way and had to even really ponder such things.

And I'm happy that between the two of us at least one of us realizes our justice system shouldn't be contingent on the emotions of the family of the victim.

Because that's how we dole out justice in this country, right? By the families of victims?

Missing a comma in that first sentence?

:D

Probably. Just trying to balance out the equally incorrect overuse of commas on this board.

If you are against the death penalty, almost every case you run across is worthy of exception. The punishment always seems to be associated with inhuman actions of the guilty.

Thanks Captain Obvious.

Read what he did and answer the question if it applies. Or not

The question is answered Private Oblivious, if you are against the death penalty you are against the death penalty

Probably just so dolphin could see Seacrest stand at parade rest.

I am not pro or anti death penalty. I see no need to house and feed remorseless animals for 50-70 years. Manson and the like are a drain on taxpayers dole and so I really wish I had a real answer.

Is that the one you have to be "released" from, like if Cappy doesn't feel like returning your salute?

Not really. If you're being chewed out then you probably have to be released from it. In general it's just an appropriate position to take when addressing a superior.

Nothing. Just twisting CH's tail vis-à-vis my joke about Roof's wandering and switchbacking thoughts in his closing arguments resembling a sini post. Not a 1:1 equation, but close enough.

So, you don't know the facts of the case and now pretend to speak for those who do?
