He won't back down. Nor should he. Obviously.
This worse than the fakery in 2000 when W won. I guess W was of their class (as they see it) so not full on crazy and treason like now. And the incompetence of the smear job is - to be expected. Rex Tillerson seems the only sane guy on TV these days. The Duck, of course, is crazy like fox. Da.

Here are The Duck of Death's words before they were broken up in tweets:

It now turns out that the phony allegations against me were put together by my political opponents and a failed spy afraid of being sued. Totally made up facts by sleazebag political operatives, both Democrats and Republicans – FAKE NEWS! Russia says nothing exists. Probably released by “Intelligence” even knowing there is no proof, and never will be. My people will have a full report on hacking within 90 days! What are Hillary Clinton’s people complaining about with respect to the F.B.I. Based on the information they had she should never have been allowed to run – guilty as hell. They were VERY nice to her. She lost because she campaigned in the wrong states – no enthusiasm!

heh heh heh

You should realize (but you don't) Trump is the one feeding this hysteria? His tweets drive the national conversation.

This isn't about Trump's tweets. It's about a clearly concerted effort to de-legitimize a duly-elected president. Next time it might be a person you like and/or voted for.

He de-legitimized the election himself by questioning its validity for months during his campaign. Then by encouraging Russians to continue to hack fellow Americans. Then refusing to acknowledge Russian hacking occurred or had any ulterior motives.

His Twitter meltdowns only further fan the flames. He should be focusing on his administration and presidency. He, like the millions of his Trumpets, are still obsessed with reassuring themselves they beat Hilary in a "landslide'.

When will it ever be about Trump? The guy compared our intelligence community to Nazi's and shits on our system every chance he gets but JORR comes here daily to defend him and tell us we should be focusing on something else. At what point should we focus on what Trump says or does?

Never. We must look at what's in his heart.

When will Nas come to terms with his unbridled hatred of Trump and stand up for the Republic?

Nas still has the choice to be a great American and stand up for the Republic.

I said 8 years ago here that the POTUS planned on being a three term President.

He is still trying.

Is there an attempt by some to delegitimize the incoming president? Sure. Some supporters of the losing candidate will do that after every election. Usually the candidates don't do it. Hillary hasn't tweeted that she got 3 million more votes so she should be president. You can bet your life that Trump would have done that.

Questions about Trump's relationship with Russia can also delegitimize his presidency but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be asked because MANY are legitimate. Here is a guy who has criticized nearly every part of our government and attacks individuals and companies who don't kiss his ass almost daily. However when it comes to Putin and Russia he has nothing but kind words to say. Despite all the facts that proved Russia hacked the DNC and other places he refused to acknowledge it. It's not unreasonable for anyone to be suspicious of his relationship with Russia or Putin or wonder if our normally tough guy president has been compromised.

Remember the missile defense shield in Europe that wasn't built?

How about the comment to Romney that the 1980's wanted their diplomacy back.

I think your focus is on Trump is just fine.

I think you and John Kirkwood complaining about a guy who hasn't spent one day in office yet is just fine too.

Trying to re-write history usually comes at least fifty years after a President leaves office.

When you two have a moment, please regale all of us with those stories of how W tried to undermine the Office on his way out.

Johnny Kirkwood everyone.

Btw, Trump's first 100 days are scheduled to begin on the 20th.
