At the Cubs convention.

Leary: It's really, really, really, really great to see you Beary. I adore you.

Beary: Ummmm, thanks.

they were talking bulls/knicks and Barry had a little segue about how many guys he figured you'd want on your team 2 years from now, from either of these abhorrent clubs.

So, hes running through some names (basically trying to hold the mic for awhile before he reaches his conclusion of 0-1 guy) and LoHo keeps wanting to give a rundown of why he doesnt want each name. after 2, Barry cuts him off and is basically like "hey man, we're not volleying for serve, im getting to a point."

ever eager LoHo wanting to please with his VAST KNOWLEDGE. dude, nobody gives a shit. these teams are trash. Barry's point is he wants NONE of them

Why does everyone hate Larrrry? Not great by any means, but much better than that thin skinned anti whitey Goff!

Anti-Leery sentiment is way, way down from previous years. I think we've all accepted that he works hard at his craft, which, for the Score, is saying something, even if he's kind of a weirdo. He doesn't co-host with DAAAAAAAAAAAN as much as he used to, too, which was when he was at his absolute boot-licking worst.

North was the most hated Score personality at the board when he was here/at Webio, and Senor's had the position locked down for a few years now, but in the interim Holmes definitely got the most hate of anyone.

Isn't Spiegel the most hated? I'm not sure there's a single poster on here who likes him.

Let's at least give the new guy a chance, but aside from Cubs play-by-play and Grobber when I have insomnia, I feel no need to listen to the Score anymore.

Spiegs was good in the role he was brought in for, which was to be Mac's sidekick, shore up Mac's weak spots (baseball, basketball, non-classic-rock-dinosaur pop culture; coming to work turned out to be a weak spot for both of them), and do song parodies. He's been miscast with Goff, Patrick Mannelly (?!), and whoever else sat next to him. He'd probably be a good PD for XRT now that Norm's been kicked out but he just doesn't feel like a fit with the Score anymore.

Like him or hate him you have to admit he is real.

Well it would be weird if we all shared the same hallucination.

He's not really confrontational so I do get the hate. He negotiated his tributaurus time off and he gets whiney but more or less he does not anger me. You folks need to focus on a more deserving target.

When it comes to dealing with Bernstein he is quite confrontational.

When you're a smarmy, thin-skinned, condescending asshole who thinks your cover band is improving upon The Beatles and anyone else whose songs you play despite the fact you don't have enough talent or creativity to come up with your own stuff, being real is not necessarily good.

The like or dislike of certain personalities boils down to two things: sports insight and personality.

Those whose sports insight I like:
Mully
Hanley (sort of)
Spiegel
Bernstein
Holmes (sort of)

Those whose personalities I like:

The reason nobody complains about Larry anymore is because he's never on the air( thank God)

His song parodies were horrible. I can't remember one decent one.
