Ryan has way more talent around him, Rodgers is much better, Seattle D ain't shit minus Earl Thomas.

Rodgers is better but it's closer than you and leash seem to realize. Matt Ryan also put up better numbers this season. He doesn't suck.

You're either superstitious or dumb as fuck. Rodgers is better than Ryan at every single facet of football. Rodgers is the best ever, IMO.

It's not superstitious or dumb, although I am guarding against being overconfident next week.

I know you don't really like the NFL and it's sort of showing here. Maybe check Ryan and Rodgers stats this year and compare them. And then notice Julio Jones missed significant time. I already said Rodgers is better but you and 312player sound ridiculous in this thread.

I believe it goes a bit beyond stats. Rodgers is certainly not surrounded with the same talent Ryan has been surrounded with recently. I think it's reasonable to assume Rodgers's numbers would be even more absurd if he had the luxury of throwing to Julio Jones. Rodgers has also had to deal with a litany of injuries to key players. I also think that Rodgers mobility as well as his accuracy while on the run is what separates him from all other active quarterbacks.

Julio Jones was hurt more than any of Rodgers targets this year. I agree with your last sentence but you guys are all underestimating Matt Ryan.

Rodgers is amazing but the Falcons look pretty damn good right now. Their defense, right now, is playing great.

I think Ryan was phenomenal this season but I think Rodgers is clearly the best player in the NFL. I also think Rodgers does more for his team than any other player in the NFL.

He may have been hurt but he still played in 14 games and put up over 1400 yards in large part to him being arguably the most talented wide receiver in the NFL.

Cobb said the final play was not an actual playcall. Rodgers just told each receiver what to do, like a kid drawing in the dirt. Seriously.

Rogers consistently carries mediocre players and coaches to heights they would have never realized with any other QB. Have you ever seen a former Packer offensive player really take off once they left the team?

Agreed, also Ryan had his career year this year and still he couldn't top Rodgers season, I'll take 40 TD - 7 picks and 350 yards rushing 4 TD over Matt Ryan's 37 -7 .

I won't comment on AR but Matty Ice has been picked on for years. Mostly undeserved.

I wasn't disparaging Rodgers there. He's still really great, I was wrong as hell about that. But Matt Ryan is also great.

We would have been very glad to have Ryan on the Bears the last 10 years.

Matt Ryan is definitely proving some of his critics wrong. He has slaughtered two really good teams in back to back weeks here in the playoffs.

Look, this is a dome game against a horrible defense for Ryan.

If this was played in GB, Rodgers would have dragged those 10 other corpses to victory, and Ryan would have folded like a lawn chair.

It's not just this game, although this one highlights how good he is. For 2+ seasons Ryan has been on Rodgers level. This is just more evidence.

Wow... So you're not just saying that Ryan is playing as well as Rodgers right now but that he's actually as good overall? Dude, Rodgers is an all time great and might be the most physically gifted ever.

You're just a homophobe.

Rodgers overall career is significantly better. We aren't talking career achievements here though. You would be very hard pressed to find evidence that Rodgers is significantly better over the past 2+ seasons, a healthy sample size.

Plays in GB outside. Has no weapons. Sore butthole.

Marino was better. Two bad knees out of college started first season after draft and blew everyone in his draft class away. Brady was a sixth round crapshoot and Patriots would never have known what they had if Bledsoe did not get hurt.

That might possibly be the weakest argument for why one player is better than another player that I've ever seen.

Yeah, yeah... If they win the SB, he will pretty much become the Jordan of QBs. There will be few who disagree that he's the best ever. I just would have liked to see him without Belichick and vice-versa.

Same could be said of Jordan/Phil
