I'll be listening. Terry and Dan always sounded better with other hosts.

Always remember, Dan Bernstein and his wife decided to live in Chicago because they wanted their children to see brown people.

Now Dan gets to see a brown person every day.

Ironically, Jason Goff and his wife are moving to Deerfield because they want their children to see Jewish people.

I grew up in West Wilmette. It wasn't until I was about six years old that I realized that most people were not Jewish.

I have a feeling this show is going to be super giggly.

Actually, Super Giggly kind of sounds like the name of a Mexican wrestler.

I think this show is going to be awesome because the chemistry between the two is great. The afternoon show is going to be silly again.

To me, "super giggly" sounds like the super Nintendo game based off of the legendary Ben affleck + Jennifer lopez movie "gigli"

"say what you mean, playa"

gonna be bad radio as bernstein will overcompensate to hide his closet racism.

Everybody's grab-assey in transition.

Dan likes the "good nervousness".

It was fun enough. Superficial sure, but fine.

A 'new segment' at 5:30pm.

Absolutely awful. This lineup is way worse than I ever expected, and I expected it to be pretty bad.

I enjoyed the revelation that Drew Hayes called Drinky a loser whose thoughts no one wanted to hear. That period where Drew Hayes was pseudo-PD -- 2009, right? -- was a weird one: that was when producers were banned from subbing and those gigs all started going to Rozner, Rosenbloom, and most infamously Bruce Wolf.

any guesses as to what the new segment debuting at 5:30 is?

if i were a betting man i'd go with something that's meant to showcase goff, you know, like a more hip/urban/now version of "terry's roar of the day" -- so i'll go with the segment being called "aww hell naw" and it'll feature goff digging through recent/ish sports stories (tho not in-game stuff, more along the line of "the sports version of secondhand news stories") to find some crazy "slice of life" story from some athlete/s where they do something stupid/dumb/crazy/wacky/zany/etc. at the end of reading the story and offering some much-needed commentary and perspective on it (with dan chiming in here and there) it'll end with jason goff repeating the subject/topic of the story in an inflection like it ends with a ? and then he'll hammer home the bit with a spirited [b]"AWW HELL NAW!!!!"

but yeah, TLDR = my guess is that it'll be a younger/hippier/urbaner/wackier/etc-ier version of "terry's roar of the day" for jason goff. prolly sponsored by someone like hock-[a-loogie-]berg cuz you know that it "ain't no fun if the homies can't sponsor none"

The segment is "tell me what you're going to watch on TV tonight."

No, it is "tell me the days that Lebron is on tv".

So it would seem as if CBS was either too dumb or didn't care to actually purchase bernsteinandgoff.com. Good job saving 10s of dollars!

Frisson, it's the tingly feeling you get all over your skin when you're excited.

ok i wanna point out that my post/guess about the new segment at 5:30 was written/posted 10mins ago, but i fluttered away after hitting "Submit" and therefore didn't see "a couple new posts have been made! you might want to review your post" --- so now i technically posted that right as they were declaring the new segment @ 5:30 to be "it's on!" --- basically, dan and goff get to showcase their worldliness by recommending some "deep/er cuts" on TV tonight that probably fall outside of the realm of sports.

therefore, my gut feeling that the 5:30 bit was gonna be some way to show you how hip/cool/urban/now/etc goff is was spot on, it's just that they're doing it in such a way where dan can get in on it too as they try to give you some much-needed tips on how to be cool like them.

at first i forgot that goff has a kid on the way (and therefore some kind of commitment girl in his life) cuz my gut reaction to hearing about the new segment was something like "dude what the fuck?! how can jason goff recommend TV shows when you know he's out there every night "grabbing more pu**y" than looking up a million liberal trump jokes on twitter?
