I'm with Beardown when it comes to wanting to see whether Goff and Drinky will eventually be "beefing" with each other. I say it's inevitable. Both are pure douchebags and when Drinky realizes Goff's living the high life but he can't even afford decent beer anymore with his new demotion, he's going to start lashing out. I can't wait!

Yeah. That's likely. There is a natural resentment from drinky towards him simply cuz Goff got promoted and he didn't.

In the hour that I've listened at least drinky isn't talking to them. He's just doing the update and getting out. But that will probably change.

at least drinky should be used to score people "taking" stuff away from him... i mean at this point who at the station HASN'T gotten one over on good ol amattacola? it must be some kind of special type of personal hell to be part of a "new wave of score guys" who all join the station around the same time and start climbing up the ladder from the producer position... and then you end up being the one guy all like "huh? i was supposed to bring a ladder? why didn't anyone tell me?"

ah well, hopefully he's got a nice big picture of that sexy ice girl somewhere so he can tack it up to his [wife's] wall and be like "man, i don't care what anyone says... it was totally worth it!"

Off today for personal reasons so got to listen a bit. Not good not bad. They seem to have a bit of chemistry so we will see.

I defy anyone to read this thread from beginning to end and not realize how petty and whiny we are.

Oooh..they spent the first 5 minutes talking about the 2 best teams in the NBA playing each other. Sure it's a sports talks station but this is Chicago...talk about the Bulls. But please don't talk about the Bulls.

Then there was that minute they mentioned something remotely political. I know because I was waiting for that so I could point it out to those of you who may have missed it. Lucky you. It was awful.

And then the Dallas NBA guy. Sure the Bulls are playing the Mavs tonight but still. Why do we care about what a Texan thinks? Were Chicagoans damn it!

They final get an NFL draft guy on and wait until the end to ask about the Bears? Jeez. If they would have asked that 1st I would have known his thoughts sooner. Stupid Mitch!

For those complaining about B&G interviewing a reporter from Dallas, you do realize they interview opposing teams local reporters for basketball, football, and baseball quite frequently?

A lot of the complaints for the shows from 9am to 6pm sound like they are coming from low-T beta males. I'm ashamed right now.
