They're not catching Minnesota for first, so it's all scrimmages from here on out. Hope they can beat the worst team in the league unlike the last time they played the worst team in the league.

These days, that qualifies as going out on a limb. Listening to Rozner apologize for Toews and his lack of scoring was sad. I think that was last week on the Score. He blamed his line mates. Yeah sure, blame all those guys making a fraction of Toews. And it still doesn't explain why he doesn't score on the PP where is he out there with the best players.

Toews is my fav player and it sucks watching him struggle like this. I never used to hear the phrase "bad turnover by Toews" until this year from Foley & Eddie. Seabrook and Keith have also looked pretty blehhh lately.

I unfortunately heard Rozner spew that shit as well. He also called anyone who dared any suggestion of trying to move Toews, let alone criticize him, "stupid" and "not even worthy of talking to " (paraphrasing), then playing the "you just don't know all the things that he does for this team that are not on the score sheet yadda yadda blah blah blah" card

I am so glad Rozner will remain a bench guy. Not that I listen that much, anyway.

So the Pepsi Center plays "Wasted Years" when an opponent scores?

Heh.

Tied after the Hawks give one up on the PK.

Hey, did you guys know the Kroenke family owns the Nuggets, the Avalanche, the arena they play in, AND a sports talk radio station in Denver? How's THAT for vertical integration?

Yeah, but you got Seabrook to the tune of a 6.8 million yearly cap hit until 2024.

Kane is amazing sometimes.

I think Crawford should sit for a bit.

Toews with the ultra unselfish play gives kerro empty netter to close it out.

So the Hawks score 6 goals tonight. Kane, Panarin, Toews, Hossa account for none of them. Is Tanner Kero here to stay? He's only here for Kruger, right? He was excellent tonight. I thought Desjardins finally scored one to break the schneid.....

The great Minnesota Wild lost to NJ at home tonight.

The Hawks only have 35 games left ... no time to catch them.

You think you're joking but that's exactly how NHL standings work. It is very hard to move up or down by this time of year. If Minnesota only takes five of eight points in the time it takes to catch up in games played and the Hawks play them even the rest of the way, the Hawks are eating dust.

Take the points and all but it was the worst team in the league.

Gotta believe he's here to stay now. Kruger's return will either get Schmaltz optioned back down because it's the cleanest move to make or cause one of the no-point twins to finally get waived.
