First thing to my mind was the Odell Beckham catch against the Cowboys. Didn't really care for either team but easily the most amazing catch I have seen.

There are lots of potential March Madness answers but I guess Bryce Drew's shot for Valparaiso stands out for me.

Goran Ivanisevic beating Patrick Rafter to win Wimbledon in 2001 is a big one for me from tennis. I suppose Federer-Nadal Wimbledon 2008 is the obvious answer but I hated Nadal so it doesn't qualify for the no allegiance thing and I don't think that match was as enjoyable as some of their other encounters outside of the tiebreaks.

best one I ever attended was Duke v. Cal in the NCAA tournament, Hurley v. Kidd. Kidd's last second shot ended that legendary class of Duke players

Just an interesting moment.

I had the company Diamond seats at a Reds game for Tony Cingrani's first start a few years back. These seats have access to concessions and bathrooms that aren't on the regular concourse. As I am coming out of the bathroom, I notice two guys at the concession stand and one of them has a Cingrani jersey on. Since it was the kid's first start, I ask the guy how he got the jersey already. The guy said, Tony is his son.

N.C. State beating Houston in 1983 and Villanova over Georgetown in 1985. Maybe it was just because of my age when it happened (10 and 12) but watching those games are two of my fondest sports memories.

The NC State game was at The Pit in NM, my hometown. That was absolutely a thing, but I was a total college basketball fan and cannot use it.

Seeing as I lived in a desert climate...Hockey on the other hand...1980 Lake Placid Olympics USA v USSR hockey semis. Watched it on tape delay on ABC iirc. That was a thing.

Eaglo Jeff and I went to a Sox game back in 2011...had tickets in the upper tank for a Thursday Afternoon April game. Walking through the lot, this guy asks us if we want 2 of his seats because his wife and friend couldn't make it out of work. So we take them...sitting right on the camera well on the home dugout at the Cell. So about the 3rd inning, guy says he's got a buddy stopping by, and we can't say anything mean about Brent Morel...it was his dad.

Morel booted one ball then struckout while the old man was sitting with us. After the strikeout, he stood up and walked back up the aisle cursing to himself.

We spent the rest of the game heckling Brent Morel.

Kobe's final game was a fun watch. (I was cheering old man Kobe on like that was Game 7 of the finals)

I shot -1 on the front 9 at Coyote Run in July 2013. Two birdies, and a chip in for eagle. That is without question my favorite non fan moment.

It's fun to watch a little of that video and see Wes Matthews' head slammed to the turf and the color guy remarking how he "got the wind knocked out of him".

Lost money on both games. I started hating most underdog feelgood stories thereafter. Thank God for the U

Hahaha. I find nothing more difficult in life than watching your kid play sports. It is incredibly difficult to control your emotions especially if you're passionate about sports. I know exactly how Brent Morel's dad felt that day, but at a much lower level of worldly importance.

This is a completely fake news story that never occurred.

First TD?

I bet him to win MVP at 45/1. I thought I had a chance after the opening kickoff.

Well other than that I would say all the games I have attened at Wrigley and Stadium/UC with family and friends. Even though I was there as a fan ,I was glad to be there with the people around me. Some great times just cheering and eating and drinking way to much.

Now that the obvious is out of the way, UNI beating Kansas in the tourney a few years ago was pretty fucking sweet.
