Is the Keystone even economically viable anymore? Low oil has to have crushed inefficient tar sands. Not an energy expert. Maybe Rick Perry will provide comment.

Amusing how the poor oil guys cried about needing oil @ $65 a barrel to justify that, or fracking. More bullshit.

That's just as unsupported and outlandish as his claims, though.

Really?

There was a clear 8 point swing after his last minute empty claims.

The media fell all over themselves to accommodate him and promote his every move and empty speech. Why in the world did they feel the need to sit breathlessly by for any tidbit granted.... for ratings. And to not acknowledge them as complicit with and beneficial to him is off.

Ultimately the simple and cynical among us put him in power, but he had massive help from the media.

That is why I find the bias charge laughable. He never complained about all of the free media that he received. If there was bias then they would have ignored all of the non political non newsworthy stuff that surrounded him. I won't claim that it is the primary reason that he won but it would have been interesting to see if they'd ignored him when he was polling at 1%. He received coverage that was disproportionate for a candidate polling so low.

Something is going down at the EPA. White House as issued a total media blackout.

Are you able to perhaps criticize your boss publicly on social media without reprisal?

I'm not sure anyone here can do that.

This here is a fine 21st Century American. How many Americans can even understand what's going on with their tax dollars anyways? Maybe like 70 or 80 at most? They don't need to know anything. And there are no factories where I live, so I really don't give a shit.

Does giving updates on the EPA equal criticizing the boss? That's some amazing foresight.

And while you are here.....where did you get the story about Obama turning out the White House lights post-election? I still can't find that anywhere.

Obviously, you also missed where i said it did occur.

Maybe you may have missed where Trump doesn't like to criticized. I doubt it though.

So you regularly criticize your boss on social media?

Or you are too busy to notice that trump doesn't have much patience for dissent?

Can you please provide the article/screenshots showing when the EPA criticized Trump on Twitter? I would like to know what was tweeted out as I haven't heard of this occurring.

He was preemptively shutting down their complaints for when he puts an hydraulic drill in every yard and three SUVs in every garage.

I've never done it. And I'm not sure that anyone at the EPA has done it. So why the overreaction? And we know he doesn't like to be criticized so I'll assume this shouldn't apply to only the EPA.

Do I have to pay for it? I've been playing around with upgrading to a Grand Cherokee for a while now.

An aging, former world heavyweight champion, Patrick "Lights" Leary is an extremely proud, good-hearted, Irish American who is struggling to find his identity after retiring from his beloved boxing. After years of wear and tear in the ring, he is diagnosed with pugilistic dementia (a neurological disorder that affects boxers who suffered too many hits to the head, gradually causing memory loss and constant headaches). Now, Lights is struggling to support his family (a wife and three daughters) and their comfortably secure lifestyle in Bayonne, New Jersey, after his amoral and incompetent brother/business manager squanders Lights' life savings. Running out of ways—and time—to earn enough money to re-secure his family's future, Leary must decide whether to either: accept the brutal and demeaning job of debt collector for a local racketeer; or, launch a long shot, health-risking, comeback for the huge payday that would result from becoming "the champ" once again.

You'll have to wait for the trickle down from the 20% corporate tax cut.

I actually don't see a huge issue with a blackout if there is sound reasoning. Quieting the NPS Twitter after their disrespectful tweets made sense. If something like:

"We would like to hold off with public pronouncements until leadership is installed to provide an updated social media policy" or whatever was announced I'd probably disagree but understand their position.

But a terse memo with only being a few agencies being silenced leads to the imagination running wild.

Perhaps, but I'm thinking he may have been pre-emptively trying to stifle dissent.

I am not excusing this blackout whatever it is but I do have a question. Is the EPA and other agencies still filled with a lot of employees from previous administrations? Some that may be in a holding pattern waiting to be replaced by Trump? If so, when the make controversial orders and actions they may not want some of these people spouting off.

MSM loves to play gotcha. Maybe they should spend more time coming up with something substantial to get the guy impeached.
