There are between 10 and 20 million illegals in the United States. Is it crazy to believe that 5 or 10 percent of them may have voted?

What would be really funny was if somehow someone investigated and was able to find out and most of them voted for Trump.

I mean it's less than a week so hopefully some of this changes, but it's been crazy how much these people lie and obfuscate.

Not unless Mike Pence goes too. I would be fine with President Paul Ryan. Seriously impeachment of Trump could be one of the worst things to happen to our country.

Why is Paul Ryan, who worships Ayn Rand fine, but Pence is unacceptable? They would be largely the same.

Is Paul Ryan still peddling that fake budget plan with all of the fabricated numbers that he knew 99.9% of the population wouldn't even open? At least Trump comes a little closer to admitting that he just doesn't like giving money to poor, lazy people. Ryan's best character trait is that he wants to eliminate social security even though he was to some extent raised on it b/c of the death of his father. You'd have to be a monstrous piece of shit to take that position. That said, I like it. I sincerely hope it happens.

I don't think Paul Ryan is insane. Pence would push all of his crazy thoughts on the country and I'm afraid he would have the political skill to get them passed.

Yes.

The one's I run across aren't very proficient with the language and are fearful of participation in anything state sponsored. They wouldn't have the time, interest or courage to vote. The only way I can see this happening would be for someone with leverage over them causing them to vote. That is an entirely different accusation.

I mean the fucking illegals won't even drive the speed limit for fear of police attention you think they wanna get registered to vote?

I'd suggest you guys watch his CNN Town Hall Special from a few weeks back. The guy has legit proposals that solve many of the short and long term issues facing this country. Of course, they come from the perspective of right of center ideas, but he is talking about real solutions to problems.

As it respects entitlements, his argument is that those programs are headed for a funding crisis. It is easier to fix them now, then wait until the pay as you go model runs out of money. Don't we always accuse our politicians of acting in their own short terms interests? Well he is willing to talk about fixes for a longer term problem in the hopes of avoiding Illinois style pension problems.

And the Social Security system is the only pension system that does not have to comply with funding rules. You hear about Illinois pensions being in crisis with sub-50% funding ratios, well do you know what social security's funding ratio is? If you count the money borrowed from it, single digits. But in reality, it is 0% because all is has is a few trillion in treasury notes.

I'd like to see these Republican provide the analysis of the impact from their solutions. It's one thing to say you have a solution but another to show the result.

For example, Medicaid block grants are the idea du jour. Did Paul Ryan address this proposal and its effects? There seems to be a lot of rotten aspects to block grants that are being overlooked for the sake of being able to say it's not the federal government's problem anymore.

Paul Ryan's "solutions" seem to be limit benefits, raise retirement age and of course tax cuts for the wealthy. We could properly fund social security if we did not simply pour money into the Pentagon without any idea on where it is going.
