Beardown: I am here to report that morale is low at the SCORE. Drinky is pissed he didn't get the new opening. Spiegel, from what this board has said, hates his new partner and is giving him a hard time. Spiegel hates him cuz he thinks he's smarter and better than him. As far as the B&G show, I've noticed Bernstein has been belittling his partner. Dan asks Goff if he's read something. Goff says no. That's Bernstein saying you're not prepared or well read like I am. He's telling Goff that he's a dumb ass. It's Bernstein flexing his radio muscles. Goff told a story about his mother telling him that eating greasy chicken makes you get sober after a night of drinking. Bernstein response was "I'm not sure about the science on that". Goff got pissed that he questioned him. Chris Rongey told a cracker on this board that the staff hates the hire of Parkins. That the staff, especially drinky, thought it should have been their cracker asses that got the gig. The SCORE staff thought that despite the fact that they are all dumb asses.

They both sounded pretty miserable about the current state of things there to be honest.

Rongey sounded more upset to me that he has not gotten a play by play opportunity. Said he was hoping the pre and post game stuff would lead to that.

Does drinky, Rongey and Larry ever look in the mirror? Do they ever consider they're not good? Do they ever consider the fact that they never try to be good? As has been said, they simply think by being there a long time it means that they get a show. That's their attitude.

This type of attitude would be similar to a five year minor league player with a .230 batting average thinking he should be in MLB.

By the way, does Ranger give a shit about the producers/update guys that he past over to get his St. Louis radio gig? Of course not. He doesn't give a shit about them. Ranger getting this gig is the same as Parkins getting the SCORE job. Both home town boys coming home.

Look, I get mad that super models don't want to bang me. But, when I think about it, I realize "If I were a super model, I wouldn't want to bang me."

SCORE backups need to be more self aware. They need to realize they suck. That it's not THE MAN keeping them down. They should realize that trying to be good is more important than just being there.

Sir and Rongey are technically proficient radio hosts and Ranger has an excellent radio voice. He could do voiceover work if he looked into it or be THE BIG VOICE GUY at a station.

The evening slot and Lawrence is a good combination. Plus you have to commend Lawrence for balancing many gigs but without sacrificing his dedication to each.
