I like him because he's intelligent and engaging. He makes Colbert, Fallon, and Kimmel, look dull.

i'm sorry, but no matter how "laissez-faire" (aka "can't be arsed") cool that they seem to think they are, dudes going out of their way to rock the sock-free look end up looking like chicks with their choice/s in footwear.

Craig started relying on the gay robot and too many dick jokes in his last two years. But rumor was that he made an extra $10M by hanging on until Dave retired and then (obviously) not being picked to move to 1030.

He is by far the best actual interviewer of the last fifteen years of late night, including Stewart and the like. For God's sake he interviewed Desmond Tutu and won an award for it. And his monologue about alcoholism and Brittney Spears was awesome, I happened to catch it live and was just stunned.

even tho i derisively refer to matt smith as "hipsterpants/11" for good reason, i thought craig's "doctor who" episode to celebrate having then-new-doctor matt smith on was great. there were musical numbers and shit!

then his BFF peter capaldi got to become the next doctor who! man i like to think that god invented time machines so you could go back to edinburgh/glasnow/whatever and trip balls with craigy ferg + capaldi after one of their concerts in the late 70s / early-mid 80s / whatever. [something french and thusly intelligent]

Best late night host of the last twenty years is equivalent to saying he's the funniest cast member of SNL in the last twenty years. Utterly meaningless.

It's like picking the best Rolling Stones album of the last twenty years. You could go back thirty five years, but I wanted to keep with the twenty years theme.

while i enjoyed craig whenever i watched him (usually about once to twice a year, tho by no fault of his own) i can't say that FF is technically wrong with anything he said here.

Hold on, hold on. Wait just a minute.

Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Will Forte, Amy Poehler, Fred Armisen, Andy Samberg, Kristin Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Jason Sudekis, Bill Hader, Kate McKinnon.

Do any of those people make you laugh?

I have a slight penchant to giggle at the mentally handicapped so maybe Tracy Morgan and that's about it.
