And yet the Dems can't outsmart them. Why is that?

Too busy policing "political correctness" on social media.

No, I'm talking about Syria. Do a little research and find out how many Syrian refugees we've taken in since their civil war started in 2011.

The U.S. brought in 12,000 Syrian refugees since the Civil War, and 10,000 in 2016 alone.

12,000 in five years is nothing. what did the rest of the world do in comparison? how many people died in the war?

Trump is stopping all refugees from coming in. You tried to compare Obama's policies as equivalencies, which is completely false on all levels.

Now, you want to move the goalposts. Sad.

All that is missing is the Catholic persecution complex, and the Hatchetman triple-double is complete.

I'm not a classic "liberal" btw. I haven't voted for a democrat in a local election since 2010. I fucking LOVE Bruce Rauner. I would have voted for Kasich, or Rubio over Hillary in a heartbeat. I have no fucking idea were I align politically, to be honest.

We don't owe them anything and there are other countries that should be dealing with them. When you start banning people who literally already live here it changes the discussion.

From a moral perspective, I wouldn't really say we don't owe them anything. We wrecked their countries, regardless of our intentions. But Europe has discovered that unless you hate your way of life, just allowing these refugees to come pouring in unchecked is a real problem.

Thank Allah we aren't letting them pour into our country unchecked. Thank God we have a system in place that very few Muslim refugees have been able to get through.

Well, if you went to public school in the suburbs, they tell you where you are aligned politically.

Middle school 8th grade students now take a political computer test in the fall, and the result always comes up liberal or democrat. The questions are phrased in such a way that to answer right-leaning is very negative in terms of prejudice or whatever the social category. Yep, the liberal brainwashing begins very early now. Free and independent thinking is not allowed.

That probably says we aren't allowing them to pour into our country and that our 18 to 24 month vetting process has been effective.

You have posted this twice now. Can you point me to the process? I don't remember it before and it seems people are coming from there faster than that albeit in much smaller numbers than Europe by far.

It doesn't exist. The White House removed the old vetting processes from the government website a day or two before he signed this EO.

In this article they say the DOJ legal counsel already said the order was lawful. Regardless of how we feel about the order or which president it is you really can't have this.

Ms. Yates’s decision had effectively overruled a finding by the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel, which had already approved the executive order “with respect to form and legality.”

Ms. Yates said her determination in deciding not to defend the order was broader, however, and included questions not only about the order’s lawfulness, but also whether it was a “wise or just” policy. She also alluded to unspecified statements the White House had made before signing the order, which she factored into her review.

This is going to be interesting to me. Whether it is this person, the Washington State AG filing suit or I just read California trying to become the first sanctuary state people on the left are upset. We are going to see tactics never seen before as they try to battle Trump.

The highlighted portion is most important in the discussion.

The folks who approved the EO are at least in part, people who worked in the AG office during the Obama administration. They approved an order which was also done during Obama's terms in office for all refugees coming from Iraq and Syria.

No, but Tim Graham will be the SJW approved press secretary, and that cab driver Kaner punched will be the new Secretary of Transportation.

That was the basic take of a woman on WTTW last night from the Chicago Global something or other.

Talk about fear mongering.

That's the most ridiculous argument they were putting forth last night on MSM, e.g. the Chris Matthews show. Or the extension of that argument that the executive order will lead to war, because all Muslim countries will align against the United States. Matthews was saying we're falling right into the hands of Osama Bin Laden, because he was hoping for such action by the United States. Talk about wack jobs.

What about Trump wanting to limit the hiring of foreign workers by U.S. tech companies? Just like the companies that put their factories overseas, these companies too have been screwing the American people by bringing the foreigners in in droves. Screw Bezos, Schmidt and the whole bunch.
