Wait a minute, last week this place was up in arms at the notion of trying to get Quad Cities Phat fired, but this is ok?

First, it doesn't appear that Patton Oswalt was actively trying to get the guy fired, unlike the psychopaths here who wanted QCP fired. If that guy was dumb enough to tweet like that under his real name, then he is a moron. Second, I don't see the comparison in a guy posting a picture of a cake and a guy mocking somebody's dead wife.

That's not the issue.

If I'm reading this correctly, it's 100% on the Peoria guy. Oswalt didn't do anything except shine a light on a shitty comment he made. If that's the case, Oswalt is completely blameless here.

Just started season 3. Glad I stuck with it. Started it last week because I kept hearing this, and almost gave up after the first few episodes before they started serializing it. Glad they fixed that.

i think he's pretty good. i enjoy his specials. his political leanings are pretty horrible, but if i cared about that, i'd have 0 stand up comedians to like.

i don't know enough details. i thought that oswalt had tweeted it at an employer. if i'm wrong, you are then correct. Its still really a shitting thing to tweet but i'm not the one who says all topics are off limits for comedies sake.
