i cant wait for the start of every baseball season cuz of fantasy baseball: the fantasy sport of the gods! it's there with you just about every day for 1/2 of the year, and it gives you investment in just about every game going on out there (which makes that free mlb.tv premium for t-mobile customers stuff so much better) --- plus this year i've got the added bonus of seeing what crazy ideas nas+friends can come up with to try and slow me down or outright fuck me up as i continue my quest for what would be an unprecedented 4-peat in his league (hey i told em in my first draft [2011] that if they were dumb enough to give me 16 keepers i'd take 3 years to just build a team and then flip a switch in year 4 and "unleash a juggernaught that rains hellfire on you guys for years to come" -- i've 3peated since said switch flipping, and last year i set the regular season W/L record by only haivng 4 weeks i didnt win: 2 ties and 2 losses by 1 game. good luck topping that! =]

AHEM. since you guys clearly care about my fantasy baseball exploits, i can only offer up an actually-not-sarcastic GO CUBS! because it should be fun for the cubs to actually be "the hunted" nowadays.... and not just this year, but pretty much for the next 5-15 years the cubs should pretty much win the world series by default, right? it's not like this team is made up to get worse as the years roll on, you know? plus if all things are equal/healthy i'd take wade davis over chapman.... i've always thought chapman was overrated and joe maddon pushed him to the limit to show you why he's just not the best closer in baseball. game on!

oh yeah, and btw in my 2nd year of "not trying to win; only trying to collect assets" i accidentally stumbled into the league semifinals, so after that everyone started whining and we went down to 12 keepers from 16. c'est la me, no? i've still got that $100 offer on the table if nas+pals are willing to sack up and go back to 16 keepers to let a juggernaught jug, you know?
