Dan Quinn too. Let his team get complacent with 20:00 left on the clock.

Loser coaches, loser QB, loser team. The NFC had 3 better teams this year.

You can blame him, but the defense didn't even get them the ball back in overtime.

I especially thought it was great when they were snapping the ball 20 seconds left on the play clock in the fourth quarter.

Again, with 4:15 left and inside the NE 30 after that insane catch by Julio, all they had to do was run the ball 3 times, take about 1:30 off the clock, and kick an easy FG to go up 31-20. Instead they drop back to pass...

Nomination heartily and LOUDLY seconded.

3rd and 1 you try a bomb and your qb fumbles the ball to the Pats.

2nd and 3rd down in FG range, you pass for whatever reason and get penalty and sack.

DB of the year maybe.

100%... Brady won 3 SBs and had 2 given to him.

agreed... 2 plays in a row where freeman wasnt even on the field... they had a fullback on 2nd and 3rd down.. essentially telling defense 100% chance a throw coming. draw play on 3rd down gets you a very makeable 45-50 yarder and puts you up 2 scores... quinn needs to have control ov his assistants and the ability to override play call there...

Rodgers NEVER would've let New England come back like that. Never would've gotten sacked, never would've completely stalled the offense...just wouldn't have happened. Literally 0% chance Aaron Rodgers loses that game.

Cowboys had Zeke and a coaching staff that knew better than throw the ball in that situation.

Carroll is weird, but I think he learned his lesson last time he played the Patriots.

All three could've replicated Ryan's 1st half success against a NE team that just came out completely flat. Any good NFL team would've jumped all over NE there.

Any playcall that requires your QB to take a 7 step drop when you have a huge lead in the 4th is grounds for termination.

And he lost two others because of miracle catches by the Giants.

Why do you think he's going to the 49ers? That's punitive.

MANY seem to have this penchant to launch Trump-like attempts to marginalize Brady & the Patriots. Very sad.

Don,
2 of the 5 SB wins, they had a horseshoe up their ass. It still was a fantastic comeback keyed by one forgotten play: The 2 pt. conversion run/misdirection call. That was pretty gutsy.

They have skull-fucked the league for fifteen years. Anybody who chalks it up to luck and cheating isn't paying attention.

Brady lost both of those Super Bowls because of great defensive schemes against him, and you are correct about the Tyree catch being a miracle play, but that throw and catch to from Eli to Mario Manningham was perfect on both ends. Perfectly placed throw, perfect control by Manningham to catch and keep feet in. That was the best throw Eli ever made in his career on that play.

That's my point. It took Eli's absolute best throw to beat them. That stuff always evens out. Besides, luck is just opportunity meeting preparation.

Cheating is part of it. Luck is part of it.

The majority of it is great players and a great coach.

Shanahan is rightfully being torched but why isn't the nine year veteran, league MVP being criticized for not throwing it away? There were at least two other sacks earlier in the game, maybe in the first and third quarter, that he took as well. At least one of those knocked them out of FG territory. Want to say that one was in the 1st quarter.

He had a 144 rating.

Shanahan and Quinn should be villied for this. The Falcons were snapping the ball with 19-20 seconds left on the playclock. Its one thing to keep passing, because hey thats what got them here. But if Quinn wasnt demanding to give the ball to a guy who had 140+ yards of offense on 13 touches, he absolutely should have been screaming bloody murder anytime a ball was snapped with more than 3 seconds left on the playclock.
