If there was a group of BLM protesters blocking the road and getting unruly, I'm going to run them over rather than winding up like the truck driver in Ferguson, Missouri that got attacked by that mob, just because he was white. Fuck that, I'll run the fuckers over.

No you wouldn't.

I think what gets lost here is while everyone has a right to protest it is also the right of an individual to view the protest in the way they want. If a group wanted to protest by shooting airhorns outside my house all night for a week I'd probably not be very willing to support whatever cause they are trying to convince me I should care about.

Doesn't mean you get to run them over. Unless they are black. In which case the racist painter with a god complex says go ahead.

That's not a good analogy because that would be purposely antagonistic. Any effective protest is going to necessarily inconvenience somebody.

I'd say blocking highways is purposely antagonistic too.

Would you have said that about Selma if you were around in the 60's?

I probably would but I would also still support a movement as important as that regardless. I would still be against segregation. How about you?

Rosa Parks was pretty antagonistic too...delaying the bus like that. Could not she have just got up and perhaps wrote a letter to the bus company that night about the "incident"

I've always been against segregation. But free individuals should have the right to discriminate and segregate themselves. It should just be discouraged by the more enlightened in society and obviously not government sponsored like it was in the US. I also don't think I'd complain about being inconvenienced by people protesting government sponsored segregation.

Can we get a list of protests where it's not OK to block an interstate or highway and inconvience thousands of people who are trying to get to or come home from their jobs?

What kind of loser protests anything?

Quit whining, go home, accept you're completely fucked and forget about your problems by pouring booze all over any situation like an adult should.

What kind of retard thinks standing in the middle of a road with your gay little sign will change the world?

Tear gas all these hippies.

They seem to have a habit of not moving for ambulances, so yeah I can can see you getting them to let you through.

Considering you need a jury of 12 people to vote unanimously to convict, I'd say you stand a decent chance of getting off as you just need 1 or 2 jurors to believe that.

It must be a person who really doesn't have much going for them who takes that risk.

Easy solution. Arrest them, make it a felony, give them a $500 fine. Then when these snowflakes don't pay bingo they can't get Financial aid to go to school. Solves the problem. They would then realize there is consequences to your actions. Same wit hit being a felony, would impact them getting a job later in life.

No,when you are blocking a highway ,I would say it is no longer peaceful. Streets no big deal. But major thoroughfares is a whole different story. What would you do if they started blocking train tracks?

All that tells me is you don't know the definition of peaceful. I'm not surprised.

The First Amendment doesn't say that we have the right to assemble peacefully, except on certain streets, chosen by a mumbling moron.

Train tracks? Stop embarrassing yourself.
