Thought about this with the other thread. If you tell me and JORR to pull up and wait for our food when nobody is behind us, we're gonna be annoyed. If you tell Rick to have a blessed day, he will try to get you fired. What are some other fast food pet peeves on the board?

I wish they'd try to stop upselling me on sizes. I don't eat fast food anymore, but I get a large coffee at Dunkin every day. I also hate that when I order "large coffee black", they always ask if I want hot coffee. Damn iced coffees. Of course I want my coffee hot.

Tremendous call on the coffee thing. I can't even remember the times I've said "hot" after large black coffee. In what fucking universe is someone ordering a large cold black coffee?

Good call on the upselling, Denis. I know its probably a directive they are following, but no. I don't want two cookies for a dollar at 5:30 in the morning with my McMuffin.

A slim filling of the fry container always bugs me. Looking at it from the front, I should not be able to see the back of the container.

Not fast food but when I order takeout or delivery and the person who answers the phone is some teenager who sounds like I just called them at their house at 4 in the morning. I hang up everytime.

I agree with Tbone's point on the greasy napkin.

I rarely hit the fast food places anymore, but when I do...:

KE: "I'd like two breakfast burritos, no sauce, and that's all."

McCreature soon to be chained to BD's furnace: "Two sausage burritos, would you like hot sauce with that?"

KE: "No thank you, that's all"

McCSTBCTBDF: "Any thing else?"

KE: "No, thank you."

McC: "That's two sausage burritos, no hot sauce, your total is $9.46 at the first window pleaseCLICK"

KE: "How much?????"

I hate it when you're sitting at the microphone to order and there's no sound from the drive-thru person. They should at least say "please wait a moment" or something to let you know they're there.

People who enter a drive-thru line with anything more than the lowest possible expectations of the experience you're about to have.

It doesn't. Honey, vinegar, bees, and so on and so forth. I only get angry when someone appears not to give a crap at all. They need some motivation.

I hate when somebody walks out of the restaurant in front of my car in the drive thru. I don't have the 8 seconds to wait for you to walk past. Next time, I'm just going to run them over.

I think this was discussed in another thread recently but you have someone pull up in front of you at the drive thru
and then either order for an entire office or order for 6 people in the car and no one seemingly knows what they
want because no one has ever been to McDonalds before so they have to him and haw over the menu for 5 minutes.

I got somewhat annoyed the other day at Chicken & Salad Works because the guy in front of me must have been picking up for an entire office and he was paying for MANY different orders separately and one at a time. He may have even been a Grub Hub guy.

I think the example works much better the way you have explained it because I am sure it has happened to all of us at one point or another.
Not as common in the drive thru. People can be so cheap. What is so hard about buying on one ticket and then going back to the office and
shaking people down for what they owe you?

In my experience, it's not so much cheap as weird rigidness when it comes to money. I've had a few coworkers give me a crazy look when I was going out for lunch and they asked me to pick something up for them and i offered to pay for it when they pulled out their card.
