There's a great burger place by me but all they have is "artisanal ketchup" and it sucks. You get it on the side and if you want more then it's extra $ and they don't have any other kind. Fuck your $14 infused with weird shit burger and give me some Heinz ketchup.

Heinz is trash

Heinz is the only way to ketchup...especially for fast food.

Heinz is trash

All ketchup is trash. By far the most useless condiment

Agreed.

I'm not going to tell McDonald's or Burger King to take it off, but I don't put ketchup on a burger I get at a sit-down restaurant. Bunch of savages around here....

And Ketchup on Fries? OVER-RATED!!

I just always say no now. Why would I give a billion dollar corporation a dollar to donate to a charity?

Yeah, worse than that is when the billion dollar corporation tries to guilt its employers into giving five or ten from their pay to a charity. I'll do that when the C-level guys make an equal percentage contribution from their pay including their bonuses. Otherwise, I'll just give to charities of my own choosing. You don't need to take a bow on my dime.

In regards to the "Ronald McDonald" house and those buckets you see, it's one of the "good guy" charities. Not only the cause, but whatever you drop in those containers, most if it actually goes to charity and doesn't get caught up in management overhead.

1) Have to ask for ketchup when you order fries (Fries are the entire reason ketchup exists, you ass!)

2) No / low count of napkins

3) "Please pull up to the window when you're ready to order."

How do you guys like the makeshift tip cups at the end of the check out line for the workers? That one is always a bit of a turnoff to me.
Who is actually getting the tip anyway? Do they split it up by shift?

Nothing really bugs me that much. Maybe having to say single hamburger, ketchup and pickle only no cheese over and over again for my youngest. One would think the hamburger would be enough for them to know but you don't add the no cheese then my boy gets a cheeseburger and he doesn't like it. Whatever, I felt the same way about Quarter pounders when I was a youngun and then they took them off the menu.

The black coffee gets me from time to time. I usually just make my own as in the sticks we don't have a lot of options that are much better than gas station coffee but when I do order it I say black and they still ask me about cream and sugar or whatever. I'm guessing I'm in the minority when it comes to how I take my coffee these days.

Oh, the new Coke machine where every drink comes out of the same spigot sucks.

The concept is kind of interesting but yeah.. I don't want the tail end of someone's hiC orange and lime disaster ending up in my coke. Guess just dump the first couple ounces out. Kind of wasteful.

I'm with you. I sometimes order lattes and stuff like that...but when I order a coffee...I want black coffee. I say black coffee and I still get asked "hot or iced?" and "cream or sugar?"

Yup. Always thought that was crazy how they essentially shame/guilt every customer. It was much more prevalent when I lived in Fort Worth too. Couldn't even stop at a gas station or liquor store or anywhere without being asked to donate some money after the purchase.

There are places now that have St Jude's that they are partnering with. Not only do they ask you to donate; they have a picture of a kid who's dying from cancer and ask if I will donate to her fund. She's bald and looks helpless. I mean, it's obviously awful, but I feel like saying "you're really gonna do this to me with people in line behind me? Is there any scenario where I don't donate and everyone in line doesn't hate me?"

I never give to those. I give privately, not so some big company can say "Casey's helped raise over $2 million for St. Jude's" as a PR move.

I own a certain fast food joint and trust me when I tell you that 6 of 10 people are one left turn away from being crushed by the old Acme safe. I've had my share of dumbass employees too. I'm scared for future generations. Seriously.

The St. Jude or whatever ones don't bother me too much. The jar of the person diagnosed with Cancer whose house just was hit by an asteroid while he was saving to IVT for him and his wife needs money to get a dog jar is the one that usually gets me as everyone knows the family and well, how can't you help Jim.

With St. Jude I have enough people in my life that do the run or whatever that I just donate there and say it. Might tell the one guy if he can get me a t-shirt saying I donate and just wear it to the gas station every time I'm in need of a snickers bar.
