Yep the truly rich don't even consider money (outside of making it). They just buy/take whatever they like without regard to cost.

Yeah, one of my friends who is about ten years older than I am attended SIU in the early/mid 70s. I guess at the time SIU had some Arabic business program and a bunch of guys came over from the Middle East. I don't know what the connection was with Arabs and middle of nowhere Illinois, but it existed. A heavy Arab owned the Coca-Cola bottling plant and the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds for awhile.

Anyway, my friend had a Camaro that he was pretty proud of, but these Arabs all bought brand new Corvettes and Trans-Ams. Also, they had the best weed on campus. My friend got to be pretty good friends with these guys. But apparently not good enough. Fast forward 45 years and I think a couple of them are bigshots in the United Arab Emirates. Those are the kind of friends you'd like to hang on to.
