Jorrs might be Islamic Terrorism

Favre Fan's is legalizing Heroin

Mine is definitely the drug war, yes. I'd say a close second is our foreign policy which caused ISIS which caused everyone in the country to lose their damn minds and elect Trump as president.

It's kind of broad and I'm probably hypocritical on some of it but complete government control of things. There are very few things I want the government to be the sole decision maker on.

It somewhat shocks me how casually some are willing to hand over major portions of our lives over to the government to do whatever they want.

I can't vote for somebody who doesn't believe in evolution, or that climate change is real, and a serious threat. As FF mentioned, the drug war has been a complete disaster. I'm not interested in a hawkish foreign policy, and supply side economics is an absolute failure.

Did Bigfoot evolve into us or are we evolving into Bigfoot? I have to think global warming would be worse on the Bigfoots (Bigfeet? Bigfooti?)

Joe Orr & RPB said it better than I could. The fact that MANY ignore the income gap by doing nothing about it, and the tax breaks that businesses and banks get is unreal.

its probably time to start putting a nominal tax on churches too.

I'd say normal political trends and a "grass is greener" mentality caused people to vote Trump. Oh, and good ol' fashioned southern racism.

MANY factors did. I think ISIS scaring the shit out of us even though they pose almost zero threat is among the top reasons.

ISIS is fighting a war to establish a Caliphate, so it's safe to criticize ISIS or ISIL or whatever you want to call it, but it's not like many of the theocratic ideas held by ISIS are far outside the mainstream of Islamic belief. And we seem reluctant to discuss that for fear of being called bigots or offending the Muslim guy next door who isn't much different than you or me except that he worships at a different place or worships at all.

And here's why such a philosophy is dangerous in a nuclear world. We can say Russia and China are military threats. But I think it's also safe to say that they aren't really willing to die in order to achieve an end. With a nuke in the hands of an Islamic theocracy you have the potential for a suicide bombing writ large.

Sure, but that's such an unlikely possibility it's absurd to base any type of policy on it. As it stands, ISIS is not a threat to Americans. They should not be remotely at the top of any politicians priority list.

The eradication of all country music made after 1984.

ISIS is a red herring. People wanted a change from the Democratic president who didn't do enough in their minds, which was the same way everyone felt when GW Bush's term ended and we voted in a Democrat.

Poverty. I am tired of seeing people on the streets and empty housing. Tired of a few having so much wealth it is obscene while the majority lives paycheck to paycheck.
Uneven Justice system, too much now where whom ever has the most money can get away with the most shit,ie Enron.
Fighting other peoples fights, doing that kind of shit has ruined too many other nations. It eventually leads to nothing but ruin. We should have learned our lessons in Chile and Vietnam. Leave the brown people alone.
Most drugs need to be legalized and regulated, doing so will fix so many of our problems and economy it is not funny.

One last thing,Stamp out Scientology before it fucking gets way too powerful.

Defense~ military pork

We spend more than the next 10 countries combined and it influences our abysmally poor foreign policy. I'd love to see somebody come in and slash it in half just to start and use those hundreds of billions on something more constructive... The trillions we would save from avoiding unnecessary conflicts and wars would save tens of thousands of lives, and actually keep our nation safer.
