The administration's insider has lied about criminality by the insider's national security adviser and is helping "guide" this hapless administration (along with Herr Bannon).

I recall a chant about locking someone up. Even Kellyane is having a hard time. I blame the insider's insider Pence.

The Trump supporters can't even muster up any excuses for this unmitigated disaster. The hacks have been exposed.

Mitch McConnell should be the next head on the chopping block. He knew all about it.

What a disgrace. Or a good job, as the board's historian says.

I'd rather see that hypocritical fraud Ryan go first.

Ayn Rand would approve. At least before she became a lazy, good for nothing lying welfare cheating queen

So when's the civil war going to start?

I thought my girlfriend, who is a political centrist, was insane when she said she was establishing permanent residency in Portugal between now and the 2020 election. Some of it is because she has a tech job where she can telework 75-80% of the time, some of it is to get away from me grabbing her ass all the time, and I think some of it is because she's convinced the alt-right is going to push things to the brink and as a woman of color she doesn't feel like being here when that happens.

Chris Christie will be safely laughing at the hot dog eating contest.

Was Michael Flynn acting on his own or did someone tell him to do it?

Yes, it was Barack Hussein Obama. The Trump supporters couldn't care less about any of this. Whatever happens was obviously worse under Obama.

Pence is distancing himself from the Trumpkins, positioning himself to be a clean option when the impeachment hammer falls and Trump resigns...the possibly greater of two evils then gets to be in charge and the upper republican establishment is happily rid of trump.

An attempt to push Pence out of the administration as the only non Trumpkin is an interesting theory...I don't see the Republican establishment allowing that to happen.

IMO, Pence is worse than Trump. Look at Indiana's education system, as an example.

Yep, we're far more likely to end up with President Pence before that happens.

Pence is probably the best guy in the whole administration. He's got some dumb ideas but dumb ideas are an upgrade from now.

I don't know about that. He's familiar in a typical conservative Republican way. It seems that for all their howling about how they want change- one way or another- most Americans really do desire the status quo.

It's a low bar but Pence is at least a competent politician. He's pretty bad on social issues but to be a politician in Indiana you kind of have to. We are starting to see serious mistakes roughly one month in.

I never knew Pence existed prior to his nomination to be VP. I assume any dislike of him is related to the normal anti conservative norms like , gay rights and abortion. What I find odd though is there is a tremendous dislike about everything Trump but I have seen people say this guy is worse?

It could be because we're next door to Indiana but I assumed everyone knew something about him. Some of his failures were national stories and he had been a well known congressman before jumping to the governor's mansion.

He wasn't a great governor but he followed a guy who was so he did have a lot of expectations.

He's just your standard socially regressive Republican which is actually a major upgrade. He would be smart enough to leave the room when North Korea is firing missiles.

And because Pence is an established politician in an assortment of of arrogant imbeciles I find it bizarre that so many are accepting of the notion that he was the only administration member that didn't know the truth being told by all of the Washington insiders.

He is either a bold faced liar, like the majority of the administration or a complete incompetent.

He's touted as a guiding hand in the administration but for convenience he's distanced from this?

What exactly compels him to act? He's the Vice President. It's an office with very little actual power.

Firing Bannon would be the way to go. He's grabbing power like Frank Underwood and no one appears to be able to stop him.

No kidding.

There is about half the country that is simply refusing to accept the results of the election. I think that's the logical conclusion to where we've been heading since Clinton's first election and Trump was the character to push it over the top. "Not my president" seems to suddenly be more than just a dumb slogan.

But more interesting than that are people like BRick- and I think there are more and more of them every day- who are so put off by Trump's style that they see it as evidence of him being unfit for office.

As I've said before, I'm pretty traditional in certain ways. I see Trump as a vulgarian who has no respect for convention or tradition. But if I were to play devil's advocate I would ask, wasn't that the entire point of the popular movements behind Trump as well as Sanders? Now we have one of them and MANY people are finding out they don't like it. The familiar is comforting. For example, I find it appalling that a president would take a phone call during dinner with a foreign leader. But I wouldn't call it "wrong". It's certainly different.

I'm an old man concerned about my 401(k). If I were 30 years younger, I might not agree with Trump philosophically, but I probably wouldn't have a problem with him turning things upside down.

100% of the country refuses the accept the results of the election. Otherwise, why is the White House initiating a voter fraud investigation?
