Terrible. This is what you do in football when it's the fourth quarter and there's only 30 seconds left in the game and you want to throw off the defense.

If they can work their way up to a bill abolishing the federal government I'm all ears.

Sneak this in as they talk about Russia.

The market will correct everything now that XYZ company can freely poison my drinking water.

would have been a totally alpha move to appoint Christie to the position then eliminate the department on the day of his hiring

The EPA did the following in Colorado. Not a private company.

Oil companies won't take a big win as enough. They must overreach at every opportunity.

I would not say the EPA "did that". It was a mining company that left that behind.

Obviously, I have not had time to read the bill or even know how plausible it is. I do not mind the idea of it creating a compromise situation where the department is walked back, streamlined and more focused. We need to have rules and clean water, air etc. Is anyone besides me though tired of seeing some worthwhile project denied, delayed or priced out of existence due to a microscopic something that lives in a puddle one month out of the year in the middle of a 100 acre parcel?

I would not say the EPA "did that". It was a mining company that left that behind.

It was contractors that were working for the EPA that recklessly breached the mine and caused it. This is on record.

And I could post a picture of the Deepwater horizon oil spill.

Or talk about streamlining the EPA right down a slippery slope evidencing the political fear of owning environmental catastrophe and stupidity.

The bill is literally one sentence long.

You seem to have a problem commenting on things you know nothing about.

Open season. Very nasty, very unfair.

In theory, maybe the Environment just has to correct itself right? I'm thinking of that Climate Change movie with Jake Gillenhall and Randy Quaid.

Or you can go fuck yourself and die in a fire after you read what I wrote exactly. I will put it here for your dumb ass. I did not comment on the bill. I commented an opinion on the EPA and if a compromise walked it back some that would be great.

I agree that the epa is guilty of significant overreach and they have little oversight but they are needed. Straight up abolishment of the agency would certainly lead to cities that look like Beijing... remember how gross that city looked during the Olympics? I don't need chicago looking like that.
