It's a valid question. But nobody has answered. Your last post assumed that it's part of this combination of diagnoses. You don't have a valid diagnosis.

This isn't a doctors office. I think there is reason to suspect it may be part of the equation.

Hmmm...not so sure about that last point.

People with narcissistic personality disorder are characterized by their persistent grandiosity, excessive need for admiration, and a disdain and lack of empathy for others. These individuals often display arrogance, a sense of superiority, and power-seeking behaviors. Narcissistic personality disorder is different from having a strong sense of self-confidence; people with NPD typically value themselves over others to the extent that they disregard the feelings and wishes of others and expect to be treated as superior regardless of their actual status or achievements. In addition, people with NPD may exhibit fragile egos, an inability to tolerate criticism, and a tendency to belittle others in an attempt to validate their own superiority.

According to the DSM-5, individuals with NPD have most or all of the following symptoms, typically without commensurate qualities or accomplishments:

-Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from others
-Fixated on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
-Self-perception of being unique, superior and associated with high-status people and institutions
-Needing constant admiration from others
-Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others
-Exploitative of others to achieve personal gain
-Unwilling to empathize with others' feelings, wishes, or needs
-Intensely envious of others and the belief that others are equally envious of them
-Pompous and arrogant demeanor

When you bring in a claim such as the one you did, prepare to have it appropriately refuted.

It's a question, and there is at least some reason to believe that dementia could be at play here.

So, I'm not sure what you refuted exactly but maybe I forgot.

He pulled the "where did you administer your cognitive screening tool to patients at work?" card. Hub Arkush would be proud.

Yeah, well I have a psych minor so I'm basically a psychologist.

You concluded that dementia is contributing to his behavior. Apparently based solely upon the musings of a Deadspin article. If you want to lump dementia in there, you should have better evidence than what you've provided. Otherwise, it's still just a question.

Cool story.

I explained that I believe Dementia may be a contributing factor. I never said it definitely was.

So you agree that he's incredibly stupid and sociopathic.

But you draw the line at dementia?

I checked out for a while and am not familiar with the stylings of a ChiefWampum.

I just find it a peculiar place to draw a line in the sand....

The right and left have called each other "stupid" for years now. There haven't been a ton of "Obama has dementia" or "Bush has ALS" suggestions. The cooky theory about Reagan is rightfully dismissed as hogwash. As should this. If Rick brought this up out of the blue, I wouldn't give two shits. But since Deadspin tries to get this propped up into mainstream thought, it should get shot down. It's dumb to even discuss further. It's not much different than seeing Tom Cruise in a string of interviews where he is coughing and has a raspy voice - we shouldn't just start throwing out theories that he has pharyngeal cancer. Now a moronic Deadspin "writer" suggests Trump has dementia and we need to treat it as some sort of credible rumor? It's simply dumb.

You are the one being combative.

I believe there is enough out there to question whether he may have some level of dementia. If you don't then I'm fine with that too.
