Her Taylor Dane bit is funny. The rest of her stuff is either as you described or just so-so. She also talks about having C.diff, which sounds absolutely horrible and doesn't really make a funny story.

i've heard his new special is really good but for a while i hadn't watched anything. i loved his stuff in the early 2000's, especially "shut up you fucking baby". and that time period is special to me because while on tour, my sister and i had the pleasure of hanging out with him all night long in philly.

another good modern comic is pete holmes.

I know he is not top ten but for me I wouldd say Ron White is always laugh out loud funny.

Shelley Berman was real good but was a sit down on a stool guy. Lots of good telephone bits. Early 60's stuff. Inside Shelley Berman was a great listen for me when I found it in my parents LP stack early 70's.

I would have Colin Quinn say they word but he would mispronounce it and garble the sentence.
