White Sox told me, as a fan, not to give a shit this season. I'm obliging.

This team is neither fish nor foul. They are not good enough to compete but not bad enough to be the worst. It think Ricky will speak some of his magic Spanish and this will be a try hard team that hovers a little bit below .500. Typical for the Sox

I had a very vivid dream last night. I was at a Sox game, I think it was at the old Comiskey Park. I know FavreFan was with me for sure. There were others but it's very vague who they were, I think dolphin and Seacrest for sure.

Suddenly I heard a very distinctive voice yelling, "PEANUTS!" Aggravated Bob was walking the aisles as a vendor. He wasn't wearing the modern yellow shirt, but instead had on one of those old school red, white, and blue Sports Service uniforms. We were surprised to see him and I said, "You retired from the law to do this?" He replied, "Yeah, now I don't have to pay to watch this horseshit team!" FavreFan asked him for some peanuts but Bob threw a dead squirrel at us and said, "How do you like that, Fanboys????     " FavreFan examined the squirrel and said, "There are MANY rats here too but they're all Sox fans."

Then I woke up.

 I've had a little cold and I took a couple Advil. But I think looking at the Facebook group, White Sox: Pride and Passion right before bed may have had something to do with it.

IMPORTANT QUESTION: did aggro sox vendor bob have the cape? you figure that the guy who gave the world the term "the mall of justice" for the skokie courthouse would probably want to rock a cape so he has a memorable gimmick that make people want to buy beer from him specifically (you know, like that one phillies peanut girl except that he isn't an awesome animator in his spare time =)

I had a dream the other night in which Spaulding made an appearance. She was talking but I couldn't hear any words coming out of her mouth. I laughed and she didn't seem frustrated by it.

Supposedly Fulmer looked good today. I forgot Avi was on the team.

Sox now have three projected starters missing significant time.

I was thinking about "Who the hell is going to DH?" but then realized, they don't even really have a full grip of outfielders. Well, I hope the food vendors have some good options this year.

So they will overachieve with Renteria to approximately the same degree they underachieved with Ventura? Meaning a mediocre draft pick, rather than one at the top of the draft

Lawrie is gone. This is now a clubhouse that KW can walk into & drop his dick on the table again.

He was on pace to have his breakout year when the injuries piled up. Probably out for 2017, no reason to not give him another shot to stay healthy.

Unfortunately they signed him to a 3.5 million dollar deal this winter, they will still have to pay him for. Had they just let him walk away. they save that money. He was on pace for a good season before getting hurt. Never liked him, but I think he's one of those guys like A.J. who you like a lot better when he's on your team. Maybe not though, based on the posts here.
