It seems like he was taking a libertarian view on the age of consent, and being is usual troll self with these comments as well. Probably make him more popular with his hardcore fans.

Pedophilia isn't a libertarian view

He was talking about age of consent being arbitrary and that it's not for the government to legislate. He also made a joke about being good at head because he was close to his priest growing up. It's not anything out of ordinary for Milo.

He was talking about sex between "young boys and older men". He was talking about pedophilia. All libertarians except the most crazy ones would be against that.

I'm against pedophilia like any decent person, but to deny the historical existence of (to be generous) May-December romances in the gay community would probably be willfully ignorant.

Not sure if you're talking to me, but I'm not denying that. I'm saying it's not an excuse to condone it. When you say "younger boys" I don't think people are thinking 16, 17, 18 years old. I think of 13 or younger when I hear that phrase. You saying because it's happened historically that's ok?

No, it's not okay; it's an inherently manipulative dynamic. But I'm sure it's going to keep happening among boys in their mid to late teens.

He is clearly being outrageous to become famous, and the outrage committee is happy to help him by being so delicate and offended. This will continue until he is a voice of the Right, and it will be no one's fault but the people who continue to give him a voice. I only hope that he reaches a point where he uses his voice for good because he truly is a very talented thinker and communicator.

He's such a talented communicator he has to walk back his comments and lie about what he said.

Quote:
"You're misunderstanding what pedophilia means," he said. "Pedophilia is not a sexual attraction to somebody 13 years old, who is sexually mature. Pedophilia is attraction to children who have not reached puberty."

After a scandal blew up over these words, Yiannopoulos used a technique that Donald Trump has used often in the past two years: He simply claimed he didn't say what he said.

Blaming "sloppy editing" for the controversy, Yiannopoulos insisted on his Facebook page, "I was talking about my own relationship when I was 17 with a man who was 29." He added, "The age of consent in the UK is 16. That was a mistake."

This was despite the fact that Yiannopoulos explicitly talked about "sexually mature" 13-year-olds in the context of who can and cannot be a consenting adult.

a voice of the right? As a gay? Yeah, I'm sure that's going to happen. This is a man without a country.

He will learn from this and become stronger.

He said he made a mistake. Trump University 101 tells you to never admit to being wrong.

Senators Lindsay Graham  and Larry Craig or Speaker Hastert's voices aside, I found it funny that he was dis-invited to speak at the next CPAC forum.

Ol' Milo's heading down the Herman Cain path with the party. Sad.

Your criticism is fair. I've gotten better with age but I've never denied that I need more growth in this area. It may surprise some people but I'm not a perfect man
