Three times I turned to it, and twice they were engrossed in political discussion and I had to PTFB. As few coherent thoughts as they have about sports, they have less about politics.

Shep is from Coal City. He should be a starter at the golf course and work at Casey's. That he escaped and made it to Chicago is astounding.

The one sports thought they had was about Maddon backtracking about using Zobrist primarily at 2B, except Joe was saying "in Spring Training." No shit, Zobrist doesn't need a lot of work in a spring training which is extended by the WBC. [Hell, I'm surprised that they even let him show up, I'd have told him to go back home and bang his wife until four weeks before Opening Day.] But Shep seemed all jazzed up about this because he wants Baez starting at 2B as much as possible.
