Of all of the people that constantly talk about their babies, it can't be Jason Goff. But it is.

Because for years Goff was the guy that always said, "I don't want to hear about your damn baby and changing diapers. I don't want to look at your thousand facebook pics of your damn kid. Got it?"

Goff is off the charts with the kid talk. One caller today asked how old his kid was, and when Goff answered 8 weeks, the caller was in disbelief. Like, you're already talking about your kid this much and the kid is only 8 weeks old!

I get it. "The Girl" (That's what Goff calls her. I often wonder what Julie thinks about that.) probably wants to get back into playing shape for a wedding. Nobody wants to get married while pregnant. Nobody wants those pictures. Plus who the hell wants a wedding in the winter?

But one would think playa should be married by the end of spring. The Goff we all know would say "THAT"S WHAT BROTHERS DO!!!"

He said something stupid about that. He was talking about how tons of women came up to him cuz he had a baby. Then he said "Texters were saying that it's only because they know you're taken and you can't hit on them."

Goff's dumb response was "How do they know I'm the father? Why can't I be the Nephew or Uncle?"

Yeah, Goff, you dumb ass. How many guys are alone with a new born baby, in a store, that isn't their baby? I'm pretty confident in saying that never happens.

I think Goff was trying to convince himself that it wasn't the baby. That it was him that attracted the women.

Goff's stupidity amazes me.

IIRC it was Tony in Matteson, who then rattled off having like three dozen kids w/ another one on the way. The lads opined he should get snipped asap.

Goff: Man, let me tell you Dan, the baby cried and crapped yesterday. I changed his diaper and gave him a bottle.

Yes, Jason, that's the story of every baby in the history of the world. Jason, of all people, thinking this story is unique is beyond me. Like I said, he hated kids and kid stories for years when he was a club hopping, strip club going PLAYA.

It's not sustainable to talk about an infant as frequently as he does. It's just bad radio. I am trying to give the show a legit shot, but it might not last long.

Interesting take on Candice Wiggins. Dan said she probably is just a bad person which is why the lesbian WNBA players didn't get along with her. Any evidence of that? And that living as a straight woman in the WNBA and getting bullied for it is justified because for years the LBGTQ community has received the same treatment.

I just don't understand why the need to defend something that you don't even know is worth defending. When there is the slightest scrap of evidence that someone on Dan's hit list has done something stupid, he pronounces judgment on them. But if he likes you, you get the benefit of the doubt.

his response was what i expected on that subject but even hearing him speak, it sounded really stupid. the WNBA is a sweatshop that doesn't even make money for its owners to satiate some level of equality. everything about it is poisonous.

"i heard she's a bad person" where? where is it said she was a bad person? the dopes at deadspin assume she was trying to proselytize them about the "sinfulness of being gay", then put forth no evidence of such.

gay and straight lifestyles are not single organisms in which 1 gay person feels the effects of another gay person. some gay people are really shitty human beings. its not the fault of straight people all the time. in this instance, if candace did nothing to provoke it, she's not due shittiness due to the societal disadvantages of being a lesbian.

Just listened to the interview with Wasserstrom, and the final question asked by Bernstein that got Chuck launched took a full 60 seconds to ask. Then Goff got indignant about "well if our questions are too long for you..."

I didn't hear that discussion but I did hear a little bit of transition yesterday that was kind of the opposite situation. They were talking about DeMarcus Cousins and Speigel asked if he was a bad guy in the lockerroom. I could have sworn both Bernstein and Goff said "No", but over the last several days I have heard several different people on different stations say he is a bad guy and has contributed to tension both in the lockerroom and with management (coaches, GMs).

Goff and Bernstein can never say "I don't know".

It's a weird thing. Ask a question about ever single player in the NBA and Goff knows about them. I mean he obviously doesn't. But he feels he has to give an answer.

It's OK to say "I don't know".
