6th grade team yes. 8th grade team got destroyed.

When I played 8th grade hoops, we dropped 100 on the local catholic school team. It was probably the most embarassing beatdown I have ever been a part of in my sports career. My friend closed the game out by knocking down a 3 at the buzzer to get us to 100.

I probably had about 15 blocks that game, and I wasn't even a shot blocker.

That's part of it. They have to live with it. Then Spaulding drops a 'Have a blessed day' at the funeral and walks out like a champ.

If I were a player or coach for your team I would be embarrassed to admit that. If there were anyone but your worst five players on the floor for the second half or last quarter of that game you were truly douchebags.

It would be ironic If the parents ended up dying due to electrocution.

Our starters barely played at all and we were an average team at best. I think we finished 3rd in our conference of 5 teams.

Interesting angle but I doubt the family would care if the kid got killed.

This team was down by like 18 and the Christian team coach pulled her best players so the clock could just run. The other team starts pressing and fouling to drag it out so she had to sub all the good players back in and than the Catholic coach was complaining about running up the score. Mind you when it was the younger kids he was pressing when up by 15.

This board is funny. When you make a suggestion that perhaps there are sexually mature 14 and 15 year olds out there you get called a pedophile. When you advocate for beating the fuck out of a six year old you find wide support.

 No one said they were gonna beat the shit out of a kid, and the only person who called you a pedophile was that moron Steve.

Technically speaking Chris did include the kid along with his parent in the reprisal threat.

I interpreted it as meaning he would have liked to, not that he actually would have. I realize that's not literally what he said, but unless he's an unhinged psychopath, I doubt he's really coming on and admitting he would have beat the shit out of a 6 year old.
I too figured that Chris would have liked to, but that he was not going to start a brawl with a kid.

However, he is an unhinged psychopath. ;)

Can confirm this.

I about lost my shit. I wish a plague on their house and nothing but unhappiness and general awfulness up to and including the worst thing you can think of!

The whole team was a bunch of &* ()#!@. They lost because they couldn't stay out of the box and preoccupied with seemingly injuring other players over playing hockey. I understand it's a rough sport...but ugh!

Why does stoneroses86 spell out all numbers but have "86" in his name? Should he be stoneroseseightysix?

Where they from? Are they related to the funeral home Sheehys? Family friends of ours.

Im sure I know them or their relatives

Idk. They played at Franklin park but I think the team was from Homewood. The team ended up with 4 penalties and were a big part of the reason they lost. I think we scored on 2 of them and they could have had 3 more. Her kid left his feet, launched himself at mine into the boards. I stood up hoping he was not concussed or having a seizure and she told me it was hockey and to sit down and started screaming. The kid deserved 5 or 10 minutes. He was hit hard enough where he has broken blood vessels around the corner of one of his eyes and they gave him the concussion test. That could have been the coach knowing his condition though. Did the fat and greasy hair comment give it away?

Sounds like you need a Northwest Hockey League Board/House league message board given Franklin Park being bandied about. But if you want psycho adults talking Tier I (AAA) and Tier II (AA-B/Central States and Northern IL Hockey League) Chicagoland youth hockey, here you go: http://www.network54.com/Forum/755318

Those people are a whole different level. However I don't think any parent should be cheering and whooping when somebody gets slammed head first into the boards in a house hockey league.

You are correct...checking starts at Bantam. Sounds like your son is still in PeeWee and that is 100% no-check, yet alone leaving skates. I can't decide if this is on the parents or coaches or both, but when my kid played at Pee Wee level....there was NONE of that.
