Why is Spaulding so scared of the transgendered?

I mean, I've only been around them a few times I think but it just doesn't even register on my list of things to think about.

I would not wear makeup though but I doubt I am the target audience.

It's pretty likely you've never encountered a truly transgendered person since they only represent about .03% of the population. But I do think all the cross-dressers at Sidetracks on Drag Race night deserve to wear the same makeup as Spaulding.

I'm not afraid of transgendered people but I don't want to look like most of them. I had an uncle that worked at the baton.

This is a very strange conversation, even for this place.

0.03% isn't that small of a number, when discussing people, considering you encounter people everywhere.

Example: Approximately 5,000 to 10,000 people visit the average Walmart Supercenter on a weekly basis. Let's take the smaller number for this discussion. If the 0.03% holds true, it means that 21 transgendered people shop at a Walmart each day. Let's say that 90% of those visit a Walmart during your normal daytime and evening hours. That means at any given hour most days....a Walmart Supercenter has 1 to 2 transgendered people shopping there. And because it is Walmart, I'd say 0.03% is a low estimate.

Now, we all know Boilermaker Rick is probably extremely anti-social and prefers not to head out of the house, but as a computer programmer, he has to get his mountain dew and doritos somewhere.

Apparently numerical literacy is not required to travel on the fast track. Please consult an elementary school arithmetic book to grasp the difference between .03% and 3%, hang your head in shame for 30 minutes, check all of your pertinent financial documents to determine if you have made additional catastrophic calculations on them, and then re-compute your estimate regarding the number of transgendered customers shoppping at an average Walmart during a given week.

Please also note that JORR's statistic is incrrect: It is estimated that transgendered people constitute .3% of the poulation, not .03%.

I don't buy a lot of makeup and I'll buy as much from those brands as I did before. This does not make me want to run out and buy Covergirl for myself or my daughter though. Too much of a statement, and in a way and I feel like it's becoming that way for everything.
