The goof bragged about stabbing people and having been something of a dunce. And yet MANY support(ed) him and view him as qualified to run anything that effects their lives.

Brethren, these are sad and deluded times...

Outraged by this specifically, no. By the willingness of MANY to parade Dr. Steppinfetchit, MD around, there's my outrage and disgust.

To offend you have to have a coherent point. What Carson said isn't coherent - it is astoundingly dumb. Par for the course for him anytime he's wearing something other than scrubs. I'd say this is more about derision than outrage. As RR indicated, can't believe people cast votes for this dumb motherfucker to be prez. Well, I can say that about Trump, too.

 How could anyone be outraged by it? It's so utterly stupid that it almost defies belief. I'd feel sorry for the guy except he's a rich ass doctor with more power than I'll ever have.

Nah. With him it's not even partisan stuff that makes him sound dumb - that appears to be an innate trait. He'd be fine if ever figured out how to not say words.

They are pretty similar statements. It just sounds a lot dumber when Carson says it.
