I thought it was a "No Thibs/Wolves" Zone? I guess that goes out the window whenever they show the slightest bit of improvement. I'm sure that it won't be any "obsession" talk now that they are performing better.

They won't make the playoffs but they're doing exactly what I expected them to do even without Lavine. Maybe you people will listen to me more. Still blowing too many big leads though.

Rubio has been playing better for them.

If Rubio keeps playing like this T'Wolves are a whole different team.

i really want them to make the playoffs even if they get swept in the 1st round, but they have a pretty tough schedule

@Celtics, @Heat, @Pelicans and Spurs coming up.
and no games left vs. Denver

They blew the playoffs the first month of the season. I thought the loss of Zach Lavine would hurt them. This is still a team that gets a big lead early and then spends the rest of the game blowing it. They could easily lose 5 or 6 in a row.

well obviously losing Lavine was huge

but i don't think they'll slip back into a 5 game losing streak. i really feel they're turning the corner. Defensively they look a lot more engaged of late. But yes i'm aware Rubio probably won't continue to play at this level

Playoff push continues tonight in Boston
Looking solid so far except for Dieng picking up 3 fouls in the 1st

They won 29 games last year and have won 28 so far with 15 or so to go. Finished 12 games behind the 8th seed last year and now they're 4 back with enough time left to make it interesting. I thought they'd do 500 but I guess a projected 5-7 game improvement over last year's record plus genuine competition for a playoff spot is overall a win for Thibs' first year. Not sure what the feeling is in Minnesota though.

i didn't realistically expect them to make the playoffs right now, it was just something fun to root for but it was obviously a long shot to begin with and now pretty much over. Plus with Lavine still out , you can't really rely on Brandon Rush and Tyus to pick up the slack there. It was a frustrating year for sure but I think it's good that they're ending on a high note, hopefully they can carry the momentum into next year and not start off so bad. They've made major improvement defensively , after the all-star break their rankings have been great

35 or 36 win season (still doubtful given late season schedule) has to be a disappointment. They are playing better and I actually think they are better without Lavine. Rubio''s emergence coincided with Lavine's injury. I like Lavine but don't know if he is a winning player just yet. Seems like a guy destined to score points on losing teams, alas his man J. Crawford.

It was a 3 point game in the 3rd. They usually start well and finish poorly.

You have to learn how to win. I expected them to struggle early on and finish well. They'll be better because of the winning habits Thibs is beating into them. Wiggins is going to be better than I expected. Towns and Wiggins could become a poor man's Shaq and Kobe.

yeah but last night's game was all over the place. they started out in the first down double digits, then came back in the 2nd to take a double digit lead of their own , then coughed it right back up in the 3rd

they were down 8 to start the 4th...on the road in a place where they haven't won in forever against a strong Celtics team, I wasn't holding my breath. This wasn't one of those games where the blew a 10 point lead with 2 minutes to go

I'm sure Jamal Crawford's composite win loss record would be that of a loser.

No correlation unless you're talking about a guy who takes up a significant amount of the salary cap. Crawford was never that guy hence he shouldn't be on the hook. If the Bulls sign Crawford instead of Bogans or whomever then they beat Miami in 2011.

Dont buy it would have been interesting. Crawford did take up a lot of the Knick cap when they signed him.

yeah, a multiple 6 man of the year and a career 15ppg scorer who has been the 6th man on a very good Clippers team for the last 5 years is a loser. God you're weird

He missed the playoffs the first 9 years of his career. I guess that means little in your convoluted basketball world. His Clipper career could never obscure that for me. Doc has been trying to trade him for the past 2-3 years. BEEN in the league 17 years an never been past the 2nd round. Loser in my book

His average salary was close to 9 mil a yr I believe. First year salaries are useless
