I think it was in Rosemont, you were working a table and my mom dropped me off (again, questionable parenting decision) iirc, we spent the whole time making fun of all the people there and you were talking about:
1. How Barry Sanders is the greatest running back of all time
2. How Living Colour is poised to be one of the greatest hard rock bands of all time.

However, that could have been any conversation we had at any time.

What we know...

Shakes took Cory to a "card show" when Cory was twelve.

Years later, Cory decides to study and earn a PhD in "Biological Psychology."

Shakes decides to join a reality TV show in which he is so straight that he tries to bang hot ass women on a boat (you go, bro!).

Shakes' attempts to bang hot women on a boat get "cancelled" due to "reasons beyond his control."

Years later, Shakes has no recollection of the "card show" but he is convinced that tiny planes unexpectedly crashing into black holes with tons of resistance ruined his career.

Cory happens to work at Penn State.

Ha, I stand by both of those comments. Living Colour was the victim of systematic racism whereby the mainstream wouldn't accept a rock n roll band made up entirely of black people. They were awesome had as much talent as any rock band of the past 30 years.

And finally, after all these years, MANY people have gotten on board the Barry Sanders is the greatest of all time bandwagon that I was driving by myself back in the early 90s. I still remember listening to idiots like John Madden say that Emmett Smith was better than Barry Sanders. Glad that narrative has finally died out.
