Goff is the most sensitive radio host ever. Any dig or slight to him and he goes nuts. Be it Spiegel or Bernstein. Bernstein has taken a few shots.

Even Bernstein is tired of the constant laughter. The other day he asked him "what are giggling about?"

yeah doing away with all the old bits i think is a mistake if they aren't replaced with something. FF/WYC/TOB while at times were bad, they were fun at times. These guys attempt to joke enough that it seems odd they wanted to get rid of it. You can't be real. smart. radio when you are giggling like idiots all day long.

Friday Fung was perfect radio at the perfect time of the week. I don't know how you can even explain not doing that besides "We want to be a new show so let's get rid of something".

Are they going to do "Who's your guy?" this year before the draft? I always enjoyed those segments. It was pretty much just an excuse to play drops.

Back when I did listen to B&B, that was some of the best radio I would ever here. It was fun, lighthearted, and everything that I was tuning in for.

It's what sports radio should be when it gets away from sports.

i think their omission of these sketches are goff. he seems like the type to think he's beyond "gimmick" radio. He does'nt seem to try the "whats on" segment which is understandable though as it may be the stupidest thing ever.

but you have to believe that show's best ratings were on thursdays at 5 and fridays at 4.

Those two segments were once appointment radio

Kap in company is going to wreck Mully and Hanley in the ratings.

Mac, Jurco & Harry was phenomenal when Mac wasn't off the reservation, I even liked Carmen, Jurko and Harry. I really think the ESPN afternoon drive should go back to a trio with Waddell and Silvy.

Kap will be 9-12.

They won't run against each other, but the 9 a.m. hour should help 1000's morning drive ratings.

ugh, not a fan of the 9-12 slot. The two-three hours of actual work I do everyday, usually is done starting at 9.

Did they drop the old bits because it's a "new" show?

Maybe Terry owns the rights to those bits and took them with him? ;)

They should be fine by April. My useless advice for that month would be to concentrate on, in descending order, Cubs/Sox, the NFL draft, the Blackhawks in the playoffs (bring on Rozner and/or Rosenbloom for the hour to prop them up), and any fallout from the Bulls season if there finally is any. I'd stfu about LeBron James and the rest of the NBA. No one really cares that much.

Watch it before FF gets here with his empirical data.

Can someone explain what exactly I'm supposed to enjoy about the What's On but?

That it's a segment they can eventually monetize. "What's On, brought to you by Xfinity..."

Now that we've solved the national mystery of Tom Brady's jersey, you think we can figure out who's kidnapping black/brown girls in D.C.?

Goff was willing to plagiarize D. L. Hughley to take the brave stance that missing girls is bad.

Lemme guess, his implication that police aren't looking for who's doing this because its minorities being kidnapped?

In Goff's defense, what the fuck is the FBI doing investigating a stolen athletic jersey?

Also, kidnapping is supposed to be, or was, the FBI's specialty, right? I don't think he's wrong in mocking that, get to work helping real people with real problems.

The FBI is investigating it (as are the local police). He is just upset about the lack of coverage.

Probably because there are different divisions of the FBI looking into different crimes.

Beyond that Goff literally just restated a DL Hughley's point and presented it as his own. It ties into his and the show's general laziness and lack of imagination.

I read the FBI was only involved because the jersey was out of the country.

Yih, yih, yih.

Yes, because they had every FBI employee dedicated to Brady's jersey and nothing else this entire time. It's unfathomable to some that if the FBI is investigating X, they can also investigate Y AND Z.

I have ever listened to another radio program in which the host read an entire news article to his audience. It felt like it took close to 5 minutes. Great radio boys.

I thought I read that nearly all of the missing women have turned back up, most were runaways that fell in with gangs.
