I wasn't thrilled by the trailer, but I figure they're just getting the basics out of the way and the next trailer will be more exciting.

Seeing this trailer made me realize the only thing DC could offer that I would possibly be interested in is an Affleck solo Batman film...liked all the stuff in BvS with him in it but everything else had me putting the not interested sign up pretty quick.

Also JK Simmons as Gordon is an inspired choice.

There is no Flash except Grant Gustin or John Wesley Shipp.

Part of me wanted to applaud the decision to kill off Superman at the end of BvS but...pretty sure the whole point of this Justice League thing was to see all the superheroes together.

But hey, maybe this will give Cyborg more screen time now.

Having read a summarized script leak all I've gotta say is don't count Superman out. If they revealed he was coming back in this 1st trailer everyone would be shitting all over JL and Snyder.

Everything DC touches turns to shit with the exception of Chris Nolan's Bat Man. Turning the reigns over to the untalented Zach Snyder and basically giving him carte blance to do whatever he wanted to the DC universe is the most idiotic decision in history since Neville Chamberlain's war of appeasement vs Hitler.

His take on Superman was ok until that waaay over the top fight scene. Look what the Russo brothers did in Civil War. The climatic scene wasn't some end of the world scenario,just a fight among friends and it worked!

Maybe the next trailer will show more, but hordes of CGI scrubs make for pretty lame villains. Even if there's some mega real villain behind them it feels lame. Avengers and A: Age of Ultron suffered from this. Man of Steel is a lot better than it should have been because Michael Shannon played a great Zod and whoever played Faora was also good. Even if it's a completely CGI environment, people fighting people usually makes for a better superhero movie.

Is that what was hinted at by Lex Luthor at the end of the last movie? ("the bell has been rung")?
