Trump did this to change the subject when his approval rating was cratering. He did an about face in his view on Syria in just five days. It was meant to overshadow the fall-out from his health care bill fiasco, his ordering of the rule change in the Senate for Supreme Court nominees, and the Nunes scandal involving the White House. Day after day, he was getting hammered by the MSM. The decision was not about Syria at all, it was completely self serving politically.

It's also ironic that when gas prices get very low around $2.00, there seems to be always some incident like this to prop up crude oil prices. Yesterday, when I filled up unleaded was close to $2.60 a gallon. Big oil doesn't want crude below $50, and look who Trump's Secretary of State is.
