I do not want to watch a short haired Thor without a hammer.

Mike, man, the hate is strong in you lately... It's Thor. Pretty sure the hammer and hair make a comeback at some point.

Me either. That's why I turn off the Sox when Quintana is pitching.

I am a long time Thor guy. Bins of comics in the basement. I will have to look into whether the story will be worthy.

I always thought Thor was a pussy. There was definitely something homoerotic going on between him and Iron Man.

I never liked the Avengers as a whole when I was in my comic phase. It took forever for me to watch any of these new marvel movies but I did watch the 3 Capt America movies and the two Avengers movies and I was pleasantly surprised. I was and remain an X-Men guy though.

I really hope this trailer isn't indicative of the tone of the movie, because one Guardians of the Galaxy every couple of years is enough.

Well said!

Marvel movies seem to have issue's with 2nd movies in a franchise: Avenger's:Ultron,Thor 2 and Iron Man 2 were all "meh".

Only Captain America broke that mold with Winter Soldier.

Strange to have Zeppelin background music and Star Trek font for the titles...otherwise I'd say it looks to be worth a rental someday, maybe.

To be fair, Thor and Hulk movies sucked rather it was #1 or #2. IM1 was ok, and IM2 was mediocre. GoTG has really been the only great movie, IMO.

The only kind of bad recent Marvel movie was Ironman 3.

I think Fox took it up a notch with the "R" rating. It is going to be a game changer. Disney is not going to touch "R".

Where the hell was Dr. Strange? I thought he was going to tag along.

Yeah. A few lines here and there is great but I hope the whole movie isn't as jokey as the trailer.

Who are the other two with Thor and Hulk? It looks like Hulk got a spiffy new haircut, too.

Fucking great. Saved the Thor brand with this movie. Hilarious and entertaining from start to finish. Hulk is especially funny. Highly recommend.

Good to hear. Heard great things leading into it.

Might have to see a movie.

Just treat it like an action comedy. The tone is a complete 180 from the second film. The director's fingerprints are all over this movie.

Do you think they'll ever do a stand alone Hulk movie again, hopefully based on the Planet Hulk storyline? I don't remember anyone famous being in it besides the Hulk, but its a great story if you can look past the obvious Sparticus rip off.
