There go Buzz Kilman's and Tony Fitzpatrick's acting careers.

Sad. That was my first thought as well.

Something Wild is one of my all-time favorite movies. It covers a lot of the same intellectual ground as some of Lynch's movies from the 80s/90s in that it is a meditation on the 60s through the lens of the 80s, but it occupies different ideological territory than Lynch's Reaganist neofascism (I view both Blue Velvet and Wild at Heart as extermination fantasies centered on the emerging 80s "underclass"). In any event, Something Wild is beautifully directed and features an absolutely incendiary performance by a young Ray Liotta. Stop Making Sense and the remake of The Manchurian Candidate are also great.

I forgot he did the Manchurian Candidate remake, too...terrific film.

Really? The Manchurian remake is good?

I'll have to check that out.

Denzel and Liev Schreiber are the goods in that.

I love both those guys. Don't know how that slipped under my radar.

it's good, but not the original. it's like the "invasion of the body snatchers" remake. updates it, but didn't pop as much for me.

I prefer the remake to the original.

It's awesome, but The Last Waltz is at the top of my list. The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus is second.
