Twice this morning he has read a spot for Alfa Romeo and incorrectly pronounced "Romeo" as you would when saying "Romeo and Juliet."

1. He sounds like a fool.
2. Why hasn't anyone at the station, either a host or maybe someone in sales/promotions, corrected him? Does no one else there know how to pronounce it or are they just letting him embarrass himself?

Really? We have dealt with Julie, anything over her is better.

And 10 seconds later they played the clip criticizing the pronunciation of the new quarterback's name

He's supposed to be a professional broadcaster. If he mistakenly read it wrong once, OK. Reading wrong several times is embarrassing.

More like the verbal equivalent of My Favorite Poster and Hero.

Julie went weeks mispronouncing some insurance agent's name. I think he either pulled the ads or it was a short run, because she never got it right before it was on to the next sponsor.

I don't think they care.

To be fair, some of us shit on Julie for the same thing.

Nomination seconded.

Don't think so, he's got a thing about keeping his shoes on.
