False, Zhukov won WWII.

Stalin did just about everything he could to lose that war (purging his generals, having GRU destroy unit morale, etc.) It was only Zhukov who was able to overcome the unintentional sabotage from the top and win the war with major logistical support via Lend-Lease.

Stalin knew this and tried to destroy Zhukov after the war.

As far as Stalin is concerned, he should be put next to Hitler and the Holodomor is all that needs to be said.

My walking/writing guy recently ran across another museum. A year's walk down the road in Bishkek another post reference to Stalin, and Frunze whom he most likely had killed. Same unfortunate state of affairs at the museum it seems. Interesting stuff nonetheless.
