A different word, not a racial slur, but it certainly hurt. I'm a stronger person now, but it would still bother me. I know some people don't give a shit what you say about them...and I try to be that way....

Been called Gringo in Nicaragua and Panama.
Have had Asians in public touch the white hair on my arms over there MANY times.

I used to work for the BMV and one day within 5 minutes I was called a white n-word and then a grand dragon of the KKK. I looked at one of my clerks and said "Damn tough day for me. Which is it?"

I've been called every word in the book while at that job.
