I only hope Cubs pitching can somehow limit Castro to 5 hits this series.

Judge hits 5 HR's. Cubs get swept.

Starters give up 16 first inning runs.

It would be a feat for an entire team to hit 5 total HRs this series with the way the wind is going to be howling in all weekend.

I bet Judge could hit the scoreboard (the real one, not the video board) if he hit one just right.

Adam Warren received his WS ring today!!! I bet the first person he showed was Castro.

Chapman will get his in a ceremony before the game.

Starlin Castro will be announced as an honorary member of the 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs.

They should give him a ring.

Quote:
Castro will receive a tribute before Friday's game with the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Fellow former Cubs Aroldis Chapman and Adam Warren will receive their World Series rings from President Theo Epstein and manager Joe Maddon.

And Castro's old teammates will welcome him with open arms.

"During the rebuild, he taught me a lot," Rizzo said. "He played hard and played every day.

"He was here for a while and part of this two-year run. But I'm sure he was pulling for us. I'm sure it would have been great for him to be a part of it, too, but I think a little part of him was."

Rizzo should be lobbying for Andrew Cashner to get one as well.

And maybe Andrew Friedman too.

Does Scott Feldman get one for existing for half a year?

Let's hand one to Shark for not sucking for 2 months as well.

In fairness to Castro, he was only moved the offseason prior to the WS run. Feldman, Shark, Cashner and the ilk were moved at least two seasons prior.

Rings don't go to former players, unless they have a role of some kind with the team as an instructor or ambassador or something like that. Nice of the Cubs to give Castro a tip of the hat though.

If IMU is near a TV, it's Starlin love-fest at the moment.

I trust Maddon gets Almora more starts as the season goes along. Almora and Heyward playing the outfield in the playoffs must happen.

Hendricks is getting squeezed. Manfred mandated more offense when the wind blows in at Wrigley.

By squeezed, do you mean "hit at will but being saved by his defense"?
