Spent the last couple of days drinking Oberon.

Also got a 4 pack of Double Daisy Cutter on Friday night...love that beer.

Don't get the hype. Good beer but definitely sought due to scarcity rather than quality.

Feel the same but about Bourbon County.

Don't understand standing in line for a beer let alone camping over night for it.

Picked up a 4pack of this stuff for a little Masters watching later this afternoon. Anyone try this EvilTwin Brewing before?
There were a number of varieties but this one appears to be their heavy hitter.

I will ask you guys the same thing I asked a bartender at Two Brothers. If KBS and Bourbon County are overrated, then which barrel aged stouts are better?

Nobody ever has an answer for that question.

Great brewery. If you want to spend up find some of their stuff from the "break" series or some Even More Jesus.

Another fine offering from Dogfish Head. Didn't help my golf game much. Perfect summer beer.

I dont know. I just know that standing in line for a beer or camping overnight for a chance to buy a beer is just a little ludicrous for me. I love Hopslam to no end but if I had to take a day off work and wake up early to go grab it Id pass.

Bourbon County just isn't my thing.

Had 3 of these on the golf course yesterday. Great summer beer. Not as sweet as Shandy, but definitely has that "summery" taste.

Tried their Falco IPA last week and liked it more than the Molotov. I give them props for making
A strong beer with the Molotov but it didn't taste that great. The Falco was solid but not outstanding

Just saw Bell's Mars IIPA.

Didn't need it this time but I will definitely pick it up. Anybody try it yet?

Had it once. A malt bomb like all the other Bell's hoppy offerings. They suck.

I picked up 3 KBS from the same store in the past two days. They're just sitting there on the shelf.

Solemn Oath out of Naperville has a couple that I really like

Snaggletooth Bandana - standard IPA fare
Punk Rock For Rich Kids - Belgian Style Pale Ale
Fun Sponge - Blonde Ale

Not sure if this brewery gets down across the Illinois border or not. Tried some of these last night and they weren't too bad, nothing spectacular
but solid.

Aren't we getting to a point soon where there are just too many breweries to track? That aside, anyone making a good Mexican beer choice today?

Not if you visit Beer Advocate, Rate Beer, and Untappd.

It is.

Most of their Hero beers are good. I'm a big fan of the Citra Hero and Juke Box Hero.

Wonder if King Henry 2.0 will create as much hype as Rare 2.0 did. I also wonder if it's going to also be sold in a dumb box.

Speedway & BORIS. They are all good but if I had 4 taps looking me in the eye and only got 2 points it would be those two.

Those are my favorites of the hero beers. Galaxy and Mosaic while mostly okay don't compare. But I like black IPAs and Citra hops so the other two have a leg. Bottoms up, sun crusher and Little Crazy are all seasonal I enjoy.

Was digging through the beer fridge and realized I still have two 2013 barley wines, a 2014 barley wine as well as proprietors and regular stout. They were buried in the depths and had pretty much forgotten I had the barleywines. Guess I was saving them for a rainy day.
