No doubt, great voice. But he is not even in the team picture of greatest rock voice ever.

youre an idiot. the guy was effortless. from a pure vocal talent point of view, he is easily in the top 10 for rock music. he didnt have as many hit songs as others but his voice was amazing. we all grew up to his music and we all still love hearing them when they come on.

Like I said, great voice. I like a lot of his stuff. But he is not the greatest rock voice ever.

We have this thing we were overvalue people upon their death. This time last week no one would say he was perhaps the greatest rock voices of all time.

Again, no slight to him. Great voice.

You're wrong about that. He has long been considered one of the greatest rock vocalists. It didn't just start with his death.

If you want to say greatest voice of the grunge era then that's great.

Greatest rock voice of all time is Freddie Mercury and it is not even close.

If Freddie is your benchmark, than you cannot say Cornell isnt in the team photo.

I'm saying one of the greatest lead singers, period. No need to compartmentalize him to the 'grunge' era.
Dude had a 4 octave range. By all technical metrics, Chris was the goods, and it's a fucking shame that he's gone now.
Nirvana and Pearl Jam songs were easier to cover back in the day, but Soundgarden was my favorite. I saw them 4 times, and they melted my face each time.

I have Paul Rodgers in the top ten of all time. Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury, and Jim Morrison also. Morrison probably the # 10 just because the Doors sound was purely him. CC second tier IMO.

Paul Rodgers is a great choice--wouldn't have thought of him, but I'd have to agree that he's in the team photo now that I think about it.

I take this now, as needed. I only take one tablet which equals 0.5 mg.

Several years ago, before a social event, I took three tablets totaling 1.5 mg. The event was at 1:00 and lasted about two hours. I got home around 3:30 and laid down for a nap. I woke up around 7:30. I wonder how many he took and what the dosage was? Fortunately, the only side effect I experienced when I took too many is that it made me very tired.

They made Cornell very very tired too.
