The first Bond that I can remember as a yute. A View To A Kill was the first 007 movie I ever saw and I was hooked.

Less kitschy than most of the others he was in, for sure.

"The Spy Who Loved Me" was his best one IMO, but most of the rest were schlocky crap (by no fault of his).

Way too fruity to be a decent Bond. Off the charts on the cuck scale.

I have to disagree and say that Dalton and Brosnan top that list. Moore was the #3 Bond behind Connery and Craig.

Also,he made some of the worst but also some of the best Bond movies. Also starred with Tony Curtis on "The Persuaders". A classy adventure show filmed in Europe. Of course he became famous with another TV show,The Saint.

He has done a lot of humanitarian work with UNICEF. Up until a few weeks ago,he was doing live FB chats with his fans.

My favorite Bond. I liked the fun he brought to the role.

Like he once said in an interview:

“I couldn’t do Bond straight,” he once said — likely with eyebrow arched. . . "First of all, my whole reaction [to the character] was always — he is not a real spy,” Moore told the New Yorker. “You can’t be a real spy and have everybody in the world know who you are and what your drink is. That’s just hysterically funny.”

He nailed it.
