It's sad and frighteningly common how this kind of news is.

If I'm a player, I'm really worried. Brady & James Harrison are nuts to still be playing

James Harrison is the most impressive athlete of this generation.

I understand your sentiment but I would like to know what killed him first.

One of the great names in sport, too.

Decent effort throughout the play and will continue his chase until whistle blows. Length and down-the-line quickness give him expanded playmaking range. Urgent closing burst to the ball. Full force tackler with thump behind his pads. Keeps feet moving and active throughout his pass rush. Can become better with a little lower pad level. Has some pass rush reps showing ankle flexion to turn corner at 45-degree angle. Better pick man than twister in tackle/end and end/tackle twists. Inconsistent contact balance. Lays on blocks longer than he should. Needs to keep working on controlling the rep with better hand work. Long legs get caught up in trash around the line of scrimmage. Below average at protecting against cut blocks. Instincts very much a work in progress. Could use nasty glass-eater mentality at point of attack. Doesn't flash the mean to impose his will. Backup two-technique in the right situation. 4th rounder at best. Does not project to reach Heaven.

Yeah. Could have been drugs.

If so, if I'm a druggie, I'm really worried.

Between all the "supplements", pain killers and physical stress from the game, not to mention the assorted and sundry stuff these guys do just to stay ready, life expectancy seems to be falling for these guys from even my younger days.
