I actually ran into a similar situation, but the ages were much lower- the swearing boy was probably five (5) years old, and his older brother (8) was goading him to repeat the whole vocabulary of terms he knew. I quietly dropped the info to his moms when she came by to pick them up, and she seemed appreciative. Our boys ended up playing baseball together for several years to come, and I learned where the kids got it from...

8th grader? That ship has sailed. I've really only encountered that with my nephews and nieces who are significantly older than my kids. I have asked them to refrain from using f bombs around my kids when they were 5-11. I do a fine enough job teaching them these words. My daughter is s prude when it comes to swearing.
