Teens, despite outward appearances, are fragile. They also are developmentally unable to place things in proper perspective. I think they see suicide as just a long sleep, for lack of a better analogy.


And it is my understanding that many suicides are impetuous. They are in a bad spot mentally and have the means. In those cases get them past the moment and many never try it again.
