in the 9th the guy who hit the HR almost passed the lead runner to home. question - if the batter who hit the hr touches the lead runner is he out?

carl's jr. made me nervous but that kid is tough as nails. i hope he can convert into a closer. wade davis has been solid, but he was bound to give up some runs. i'm just glad he was able to gut it out.

wasn't a pretty finish but the team is starting to have better form lately. i hope this is a good sign going into the summer.

off the top of my head, I think the rule is not touching but passing the lead runner that would result in the hitter being called out
